A striking and fascinating Art Moderne 970 silver pin by Antonio Pineda. The shapes and placement of the stones are intriguing. The black stripe of onyx is inlaid but the half sphere of onyx and the rectangular agate are set above the surface adding dimension. The pin measures 2 5/8" by 3/4", weighs 19 grams, and is in fine original condition. Signed for Antonio Pineda as shown. A very special Antonio piece.

This is a gorgeous three dimensional sterling bracelet with large cabachons of green agates by Horacio De La Parra. A very early piece, c.1940, it pre-dates the eagle mark. This is a wide, bold Aztec design sterling bracelet by Margot De Taxco. The hand hammered, oxidized insets make a striking pattern. An unusual Margot piece, this bracelet measures 7 1/4" around in the inside and is 2 1/4" wide. It is hinged and opens and closes with a secure push down box clasp. It is solid weighing 138 grams. Mid-century modern sterling necklace with a center hanging onyx drop by Taxco silversmith Salvador Teran. Outstanding design and craftsmanship, this necklace measures approximately 14" around in the inside (curves, so difficult to measure)and is 2 1/4" wide at the onyx drop. Secure box clasp in the back,fine original condition. Signed and numbered for Salvador Teran as shown. A rare piece from one of Taxco's most famous designers.

This is a magnificent heavy sterling necklace of intricate coiled links by Antonio Pineda. It measures 18" end to end and is 1/4" wide. It is solid, weighing 115 grams. The clasp is a silver ball and is signed with the early Antonio mark -- Silver By Tono and the eagle mark. This signature pre-dates the Antonio crown hallmark and these very early pieces are scarce. Fine original condition, gorgeous worn with anything. An important and rare Antonio Pineda necklace.

Rare and beautiful silver and amethyst bracelet by Fred Davis, Taxco , c.1930, featured on page 27 of the book MEXICAN SILVER by Morrill and Berk. Davis loved to combine silver and amethysts in his designs and the round cabachon provides the focal point of each link of this bracelet. Measuring 7" end to end, it is 7/8" wide and fine original condition. Signed FD MEXICO SILVER.

A rare and beautiful sterling and onyx cuff by William Spratling. Magnificent worn with either the onyx centered scrolls in the front or the large diamond shape panel in the front. Measuring 5 3/4" around in the inside with a 1 1/2" opening, it is 1 3/4" wide in the diamond shape area and tapers to 3/4" at the scrolls. It weighs 72 grams and is not adjustable. Suitable for a man or woman, it is in fine original condition and hallmarked with the WS mark and eagle 30 dating it 1964-67...
