This is a grand Mexico City early repousse necklace that is 19in. long with veined leaves moving around the neckline. The central drop is 2.75in. across and is built in layers that build to the large amethyst stone in the center. The stone is without damage or chips. There is glare in some pictures on the stone. Magnificent long silver and turquoise screwback earrings by Matilde Poulat. These are hallmarked with her very earliest mark, dating them 1934-40. The scrolling silver work is stunning and delicate and the center drop dangles freely. These measure 2 1/8" long and weigh 19 grams total. There is a very slight ding at the bottom of one of the center dangles that is visible in the photos, but it in no way detracts from the beauty of these fine earrings...

Whimsical and charming this very rare sterling silver belt buckle was designed and signed circa 1940's by surrealist designer Hubert Harmon during his brief 4 to 5 year period in Taxco, Mexico. Each half of the buckle measures 5" long X 2 1/2" wide. Hooked together the buckle measures 9" across. Total weight of the buckle is 137 grams, 4.4 oz. Beautiful condition and patina. Elegant sterling silver and black obsidian necklace designed and signed circa 1950's by Taxco, Mexico modernist Antonio Pineda (1919-2009). The necklace will comfortably fit up to a 16 1/2" neck. Signed by Matilde Poulat and with one of her earliest Matl hallmarks, this necklace is one of the prettiest I have seen. The center drop is 6 in. across and 2.5in. tall with the dangles. The palomas are neatly tucked between larger stations inside the drop. You can hook into different lengths and it is 20in. long. This demi has been made with a thick silver base and has a weight of 64 grams heavy. There is a gorgeous natural patina with no damage of any kind to the stones or silver...

This gorgeous necklace is signed Hector Aguilar on the V chain and on the amethyst drop. You can see both pieces in the book Silver Masters of Mexico by Penny C. Morrill. The drop is 2 1/8th inches long and 1 3/8th inches wide. The V is built on a curve and shows great dimension. The length is 17inches. Their is a combined weight of 135 grams of incredible presence. We are looking at a signed Los Castillo design # 472. The necklace is 1 1/8th inches tall and has a comfortable length of 17.5in. Because of the height of this piece the wearable length is 16.5in. Today we have a signed Hector Aguilar necklace that was crafted before 1948. Jose Flores was allowed to also have his initials on some designs made in Aguilars shop and this is one of those pieces.
