This hand carved octagonal ashtray was designed by William Spratling c.1950's. The design is centered with a sterling silver bowl secured in place with bold silver rivets. The surround is inlaid with silver eagle heads & bead circles. The piece measures 5" across & 3/4" high. Both rosewood & silver are in beautiful condition.

A striking and fascinating Art Moderne 970 silver pin by Antonio Pineda. The shapes and placement of the stones are intriguing. The black stripe of onyx is inlaid but the half sphere of onyx and the rectangular agate are set above the surface adding dimension. Fabulous, rare, Antonio Pineda sterling and amethyst cuff bracelet. Incredible mid-century modern design and very unique construction with the middle row of amethysts hinged at each end and the entire row able to move up and down. This is a massive and bold piece measuring 1 1/2" wide in the front, tapering to 3/4" at the ends in the back. It is 5 1/4" in the inside with a 1 1/4" opening so for a 6 1/2" wrist. Properly hallmarked by Margot de Taxco and bears this very rare design 5581A. It is fine line enamel and is 1 1/8th of an inch tall and further showing off a weight of 126 grams of silver. The diameter is 4.5 inches for sizing. There is no damage to the silver or enamel. I have never seen this flip of the silver on it's ends and it is absolutely beyond charming. A huge YES for collectors and beautifiers, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

This Matl is halmarked for when Matilde Poulat was designing in her shop. The drop is 3.25 in. tall and 3 1/8th inches across. The chickies have rounded puffy bellies and are nicely carved. There is no damage to silver or stones. I categorize the size of this well done Matl as a medium size. There are 2 larger lead off links that are identical as the rest of the chain. The clasp is also jeweled ending the design with a well balanced appearance. The weight is 72 grams...

Magnificent sterling and onyx necklace by Antonio Pineda. The jagged shaped links are strung on a double silver chain and they all move. Another Margot van Voorhies Carr masterpiece properly hallmarked Margot de Taxco and without eagle sixteen as her very earliest work had no eagle and sometimes eagle 1. This is a very early design #5161. This example is one of the finest I have found. It is extra large weighing 90 grams heavy and is taller than most at 1.5in. tall. No damage or flaws just some flecks of patina which is warm and fabulous. Collector and museum quality.

Margot de Taxco heart bracelet is one of Margot Van Voorhies iconic designs from the Mexican Silver Renaissance. This is a published design in the Penny Morrill book on Margot de Taxco. The design is 1.5inches tall with dark and jelly like stones of amethyst which are a better quality than normally seen. The bracelet sits 7in. around the wrist and fits most. No chips or damage of any nature. Weight is 85 grams of heft. Georgous!

Filipe Martinez was well known at being the best stone cutter laying the stone next to the silver with no space in between. This is an outstanding example of such. The obsidian is a turned on sheen so strong I photographed and different light levels to help you see it in an in person sort of way.
