Signed in 3 places with early marks is this rare Matilde Poulat necklace. The Matl's center is a tulip with turquoise and coral stones. The bird of choice is the turkey which I believe is the best I have seen turkeys displayed by Matl. The flow into the tulip is majestic. Finger coral adorns the birds along with the tiniest turquoise beads. The length is 18 inches and the drop measures 5.5in. across. It is hard to measure the height of the drop to be exact but I see it closest to 2.75in...

One of the best William Spratling bracelets. Heavy thick silver that is deeply chased and tipped with open backed repousse puffy designs. 1.50in. in height and the gap is 1.25in. The diameter is 2.25in. which fits most. It can be warmed and made smaller to fit if needed. The hallmark is first phase and properly marked as shown. This will become your go to bracelet.

A superb three dimensional sterling and amethyst hinged cuff by Taxco silversmith Margot De Taxco. A bracelet in constant motion with curling and swirling forms edged in silver beading and 8 teardrop shaped cabachon amethysts budding forth from silver stems. It is exquisite in every way and a Margot piece that I have never seen before. It is 3 3/4" long in the front and 7" around in the inside. We have a superb pair of early hallmarked Matilde Poulat earrings with red coral eyes. The size is large with a height of 1.5 in. tall and at the widest point it is 1 inch. The weight is a heavy 12 grams. The repousse is without damage and shows the dimension with a life like feeling. These are museum and collector quality.

Beautiful carved obsidian faces signed by Fred Davis. We have a 16in. wearable and almost an inch tall. The silver is soft and silky with no damage to stones or silver The picture seems blurred sometimes but that is the sheen of the obsidian. Perfect for collectors, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Very early, c. 1930, silver fish pin with a turquoise cabachon eye by Taxco artist Fred Davis. This pin is featured on page 80 of the book SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO by Penny Morrill. One of his most famous pieces, this pin measures 3" by 1 1/8" and is in fine original condition with a great patina. It is signed for Fred Davis as shown in the photo. A wonderful pin!

Matilde Poulat was known for her reliquary silver work. She made beautiful crosses with ornate chain and statues adorned with stones. This cross and chain necklace has the block letters MATL on both the chain and the cross center piece. The chain measures 21 in...

Gorgeous & rare this sterling silver & amethyst necklace was designed & signed c.1930's by Abraham Paz. Necklace has a 16 1/4" wearable length. Together the cabs & teardrop stones give the necklace a 1 1/2" width. Weight is 101 grams. Hallmarked AP STERLING MEXICO. All 36 stones are in beautiful condition. Besides his own signed designs Paz also made jewelry for Fred Davis during their time at Sanborn's in Mexico City. Designs carrying the AP hallmark are seldom seen on the market.

Sold. Hand Made - Applied leaves, petals, granulation, stamped "Hobe" in longhand first used in 1926 and "Sterling" on pyramid shape tag. Signed by Matilde Poulat and with one of her earliest Matl hallmarks, this necklace is one of the prettiest I have seen. The center drop is 6 in. across and 2.5in. tall with the dangles. The palomas are neatly tucked between larger stations inside the drop. You can hook into different lengths and it is 20in. long. An extraordinary amethyst and silver bracelet by Fred Davis, c 193. The weight and mass of the large rectangular amethyst stones is complimented by the open design of the silver links. I believe this bracelet to be quite rare. It measures 7 3/4" end to end and is 1 1/4" wide. It weighs 88 grams. It is in fine original condition with only a tiny line and ding to the edge of one of the silver rounds. It in no way detracts from the piece. I mention it only for total accuracy.
