I have never seen this vintage design 441 Los Castillo bracelet before. It has a striking presence at 1.5in. tall and has excellent weight at 78 grams. The length is 7 inches which fits most. There are no damages or repairs on this treasure. The patina is natural and dark. I added a picture of a Doris Silver pectoral also listed on my site that is a wonderful pairing to this bracelet. Definitely mark this one down for collectors of things of beauty, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

A superb modernist design 970 silver belt buckle by Antonio Pineda. Sleek and sophisticated, there is a slight gold wash on the triangular shaped center piece and a line and dot of black enamel. It measures 2 1/8" by 1 1/8" at the widest part. The weight is 33 grams and it is signed for Antonio Pineda as shown. Very 1950's and very wonderful.

Stunning, long kinetic sterling earrings by Modernist Art Smith, c. 1950. These are screw back earrings and measure 2 1/4" long. They are in fine original condition and both earrings bear his signature on the reverse. They weigh 16 grams total. Art Smith was known for making jewelry with concern for ornamenting the human form and his designs took into account the part of the body the piece was made to adorn. His jewelry is quite dramatic, primitive inspired and mostly biomorphic in form...

Magnificent, rare sterling necklace by Margot De Taxco. This is a huge and bold piece with a truly unique combination of design elements.The central plate which measures 4 7/8" across and 2" wide is composed of the Greek key design adorned with scrolls and balls and a large flower on each end. This is one of Margot de Taxco's most loved swan design #5144. Properly hallmarked as shown and weighing 64 grams on the necklace and 11.4 grams on the earrings. The necklace is .75in. tall and is 16 comfortable inches in length. The earrings are exactly one link of the necklace and is 1 3/8in. long. This is stunning on and is collector and museum quality with no damage to the repousse. The swans depict long turned down and arched necks with the feathers ending in a sweeping curl...

Salvador Teran was a designer of note that came out of the Spratling Mexican silver era. Here we have one if his creations that is so simplistic it is timeless. The clean straight lines stand out and the V slightly perks off the chest. Wonderful with a business suit or dress. This piece is 15 inches in wearable length but also is included with this is a custom extender that makes it 17.75in. which is well executed in itself...

Sculptural rosewood and sterling silver object c. 1951 signed by American and Taxco, Mexican artist William Spratling (1900-67). The design measures 3 1/4" tall and features 3 silver rings that move or spin around the base. Signed on the reverse with the rare SPRATLING OF MEXICO hallmark used for only 1 year (1951). The piece is in beautiful condition. No chips or cracks. The grain in the wood is exceptional...

Striking necklace by important African American silversmith Art Smith, circa 1950s. The necklace is three dimensional, with the internal opening on a higher plane than the outer loop. The large scale of this piece of 'wearable art' makes this a very desirable find.

Brass. Excellent condition. Choker length measuring approx. 5"x 8". Interior opening measures just over 4" in diameter. It is correctly signed "Art Smith" on the rear.

In 1952 award winning Sigi Pineda opened his own shop in Taxco. These pieces marked and numbered Plateros (enough of the mark is there for easy identification) are some of his best designs...

This is a wide, bold Aztec design sterling bracelet by Margot De Taxco. The hand hammered, oxidized insets make a striking pattern. An unusual Margot piece, this bracelet measures 7 1/4" around in the inside and is 2 1/4" wide. It is hinged and opens and closes with a secure push down box clasp. It is solid weighing 138 grams. Fine original condition, complete with safety chain and signed and numbered for Margot De Taxco as shown. Very spectacular!

Sold. Ultra Modern Abstract Cross Pendant Marked: "Orb Sterling" for Otto R. Bade who in the 1940's was foreman for Frank Rebajes, then bought Rebajes equipment in the 1950's. The earlier pieces are Without Stones. Small:1 1/9" X 5/8" wide. In perfect condition.

An outstanding, huge sterling repousse bird pin by Matilde Poulat. This is an early piece with her embossed script MATL mark. This impressive bird with a turquoise eye measures 4" long and 2 1/4" wide at the plumage. In fine original condition, I believe it to be quite rare and certainly astounding. The detail is magnificent.A fabulous coat or blazer pin.

A lux Antonio Pineda ring properly hallmarked as shown with 3 silver stair steps to a teal, blue green stone which I believe to be turquoise. The size is currently a 6.5 and can be sized by most jewelers. The face of the ring is one inch tall and 7/8th's inch wide. The thick silver weight is 16grams.
