I can just see this pair slogging through the desert. Somewhat humorous, yet with a certain dignity that comes from the exotic. This brooch is beautiful in its three dimensional design and is silver plated. Plaque on the back says Thief of Bagdad (from the film) and Korda. There is a "3" on the left and a "6" on the right along with some other unclear markings. From spear end to hoof is 3" and from spear tip to tail is 2 1/2".

Here is a sweet ring, which comes out of the era when Edwardian styles were sliding into Art Deco. (1920s – 1935-ish) It is marked “925” for sterling silver, and set with a ruby, birthstone for those born in July. Rubies have been called “the queen of stones and the stone of kings.” The ring has the mellow patina of age, and is size 6. It could be re-sized. The photos are part of the description; please examine them carefully. Thanks! We do lay-away...

Today I have a big 1.5in. tall necklace to offer with an incredible presence. How can I describe this piece other than to say it looks like an Aguilar or Spratling design but it is an original design marked with TAXCO 980. There are no dents to the balls and the silver work has no damage. The weight is 105 grams of quality workmanship. Being 19 inches long there is room enough to fit most. When collecting and I run across something this stellar I do not care who it is signed by or with no name...

As rare-as-can-be not just for its signature but also for the black opal baguettes it showcases, this vintage Mexican silver architectural ring was created by Carmen Beckmann. Beckmann is reported in the literature to have worked primarily in the 1950s and 1960s in San Miguel de Allende and her jewelry can vary from inspired to simply good. When she was at her most creative though, she made pieces that are to die for! This ring is, in my opinion, one of those moments of hers...
