Japanese cloisonne vase decorated with two cattleya orchids set against a green ground. The interior counter enamel is black and the rims are chrome. Wild roses blossom on the rich tea green sides of this cloisonné vase by the Ando studio enclosed in a custom silk lined padded wooden box with a separate compartment for the rose wood stand (included). This antique Japanese Goten or Palace would have been used to create a Palace scene of the Imperial Court for the display of the 15 traditional Girls Day Hina Doll Collection. The structural parts of the dollhouse are constructed of light weight wood which is painted with black lacquer.
