This nicely-shaped bottle was made during the latter part of the Joseon (Choson) Dynasty (1392 - 1910), probably the 18th or 19th century. It is "heavily-potted" and coated both inside and out in a thick pale glaze. Around the foot ring there is a considerable amount of kiln grit embedded within the glaze, a feature often seen on ware of this type from this period...
Korean 19th Century / Choson Blue & White Porcelain Jar in Box
This porcelain jar of globular form was made during the 19th century toward the latter part of the Choson (Joseon) Dynasty. The underglaze blue decoration comprises floral patterns and two bands surrounding the neck. It is quite "heavily-potted" and there are couple of firing bubbles, no doubt due to the thickness of the clay. There is kiln grit embedded within the glaze to the base.

Around the centre inner surface is a ring of twelve kiln spacer scars from where another vessel was fired inside this bowl, also minor signs of wear from use...

Of high content silver (.950 or higher), this warmer or burner is Korean, early 20th century, possibly 19th.

Signed in rectangular cartouche on base, has marks for silver.

Lid and base are engraved with prunus blossoms, and the background around the engraving is slightly textured to create a more satiny surface...

A garment-hook or belt-fitting in the shape of a horse, made of bronze with green patination. According to the Brooklyn Museum, these belt hooks in the form of a horse come from Lelang, one of three commandaries, or colonies, that the Chinese established in northwest Korea during the Han dynasty and that lasted more than four hundred years (108 B.C.E.–313 C.E.). The horse’s shape is reminiscent of depictions in the nomadic Scytho-Siberian culture of Central Asia...
Finely inlaid silver on iron box, with four round flattened feet.
Box measures 3 5/8" x 2" x 2 1/4" high.
Top decorated with yan-yang symbol, with gold overlay on silver, amidst scrolling, geometric designs and fretwork borders.
Both front and back have deer in round cartouche, with similar inlay in background, gold plating on figures of deer.
Sides have gold plated cranes, also in round cartouche, with geometric and scrolling elements.
In excellent condition, only very minor wear to silve...
Korean Silla Kingdom (circa 6th century) unglazed reddish-gray stoneware funerary food vessel with domed cover on a high stem foot broadly flaring at the base and decorated with rectangular perforations. The lid is covered with incised designs and has a central finial. There are no cracks, chips, or repairs. The piece is in very good overall condition with minor imperfections consistent with its age. I cannot be certain if the lid was originally made for this specific bowl...

A lovely roku-yu glazed form from the kilns of Korea mounted on a tri-pronged rosewood stand and enclosed in a period kiri-wood box. It is 12 inches (30 cm) tall plus the stand. There are minor chips about the rim. An excellent piece for use in the tea room. Likely 15th to early 17th centuries (Possibly later Goryeo likely early Joseon).
An antique Japanese saddle pad covered with a Korean tapestry of two frolicking lion-dogs in green and white. It features gilded leather piping (which has come loose in some places, see photos), and typical Japanese backing cloth with deer-leather ties. The pad is roughly 116 x 56 cm (46 x 22 inches). Korean Joseon dynasty (1392-1910) painted portrait of a seated scholar official executed in ink and color on paper. At the center of the robe is a rank badge holding a crane, indicating the gentleman is a civil official. The calligraphy states the bearded official is 41 years old.
