Water dropper of globular form, with slightly lobbed body. Decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with a collar of Lotus petals around the neck and a continuous floral scroll meander on the body. Vietnam 15th-16th centuries, Ly-Tran period. Condition: good condition except spout with silver repaired, glaze hairline at the handle(visible on the last enlargement), minute chips on foot rim, replacement silver cover with gold plate, no anywhere crack on the body and no other chips as well. Thai Sawankhalok round form covered stoneware footed box in the shape of a mangosteen fruit decorated in iron-black/brown glaze on a buff-colored ground with alternating panels of geometric designs and flowers. Knob finial. 14th to 16th century. 5” diameter x 4 3/8” high. Very good overall condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The lid matches well and appears to be original. From the Arizona collection of German expatriates to Indonesia in the 1970s.

A beaker with bowed profile, decorated in underglaze iron-brown with a summarily drawn calligraphic scroll. Base unglazed, four spur marks on the interior bottom. Vietnam Ly-Tran 14th to early 15th century. Condition is perfect, unfortunately tilt to one side. Diameter: 10.5cm and High: 8cm.

 

Fine Vietnamese 14th / 15th Century Moulded Bowl

This rare bowl was made during the 14th - 15th century and is coated in a finely-crackled yellowish-brown glaze, the depth of colour varying according to its thickness. Around the centre is a wide unglazed stacking ring, and around the inner wall are various moulded leaf and floral patterns. Apart from unintentional glaze splashes, the foot remains unglazed.

Khmer 9th - 10th Century Glazed Stoneware Bottle

This small stoneware bottle was made during the 9th -10th Century. It is coated in a very pale and finely-crackled greenish-white glaze that has flaked from the surface in places, this being typical of early Khmer glazes. The body is a little under-fired, being absorbent, and has fired to a pale pinkish-white where unglazed toward the flat base. On opposing sides of the shoulder are two small thick loop handles. A very rare crystal tiger from Burma/Thailand. Crystal was thought to have magical powers and the tiger represents strength. It is unknown how they drilled the holes to make it wearable.As you can see they were drilled at both ends, probably before the crystal was carved. Age: over two thousand years old. Size: L. 3cm. W. 1.5cm Condition: Perfect.

A very Large translucent pale blue-green glass earring from Southeast Asia, probably from Vietnam or Cambodia.The glass is in the form of a thick oval hoop that tapers at the ends. There is some soil encrustation on the ends from being buried. Size: Diameter 8cm. Condition: Perfect.
