This is a genuine theater puppet kashira representing the character Osome. It is not a souvenir. As you can see it is quite clean, however there are three faint vertical cracks in the gofun covering, beside the nose and up the right cheek. The gofun is stable. A nice polychrome saucer dish, decorated in the center with "Moon Hare" in red and green enamel. Ming dynasty 16th-17th century. Condition is very good, except very fine short glaze hairline visible on enlargement 4 and no chips.
