A celadon, crackle glaze inverted rim bowl. The unglazed rim suggesting this had a cover as some examples of this form (sometimes referred to as an alms bowl) did. The shoulder, below the inverted rim, with two double fine line bands flanking relief flower head bosses. Strait lotus leaf motif adorning the side tapering to the foot. The foot unglazed (both the foot rim and inside the foot rim.) Though an earlier form, the weathered pretty green glaze appears to be Qing dynasty...

Chinese scholar's desk root wood (possibly cypress) sculpture depicting Sanxing (Three Star Gods) representing longevity, happiness, and wealth. The god of wealth holds a small child representing wishes for future good fortune through healthy offspring. Measures nearly 11" high by 12" long. Late Qing dynasty to early Republic period. Very good overall condition. There is old bug damage to the back of two heads which appears at one time to have been filled (see enlargements 9 and 10)...

A finely white glaze dish, with good potted and well balance, covered overall with a rich milky white glaze. Ming dynasty 15th century, possibly Xuande period. Condition is perfect, no any cracks and no chips, free from restoration. Diameter: 21 cm.

A Honmu wood stand was well carved as natural branches.
In strong scholar taste, the item was preserved in perfect condition with nice patina.
Date: Qing Dynasty, 18th/19th centuries.

A splashed Junyao bowl of rounded sides slightly incurved at the rim, covered overall with a bluish-green glaze and splashed with one purple patch on the interior, footrim unglaze. Yuan dynasty (1279-1368), Jun ware. Condition is perfect except one kiln chip and adhere below to exterior (visible on enlargement 8), no crack or restored. Diameter: 18.3 cm and High; 7 cm.

 

A good potted of white glaze jar, decorated with incised chrysanthemum flowers below 'ruyi' heads border to the shoulder, bottom with lotus panels. Ming dynasty 15th possibly Interregnum period ware. Condition is good near to perfect, excepted one chip to the foot rim, no crack and no any restoration, replacement lid caused the original one is missing. High maximum: 12cm and Body wide: 9.5cm.

Description:

A Longquan bowl was in nice conical shape and was fired into a crackled glaze imitating the rare Guan wares.
It was an excavation piece for some time from the dry-feel condition to the glaze.
A later touch-up of gilt paint was done to the only defect found on the rim.
From the tint of the body clay, the way the foot ring was shaped and the accumulation of glaze around the mouth rim, all the characteristics stated out that it was a piece from Southern Song Dynasty...

Chinese Qing dynasty Yongzheng period (1723-1735) export porcelain hemispherical form punch bowl decorated with famille rose overglaze enamels and gilt highlights set against a white porcelain ground. A floral spray is in the center and a band of flowers, bamboo, and geometric forms decorates the interior rim...

Made of gilt brass, decorated with kingfisher feathers, pears, red coral and jade. Dimensions: 13,5x5 cm. late 19th century. Condition: missing parts and age wear.

A rare found of Ming dynasty 15th century Interregnum period b/w bowl, decorated with very nice cobalt blue tone of "Three Friends Of Winter" pattern to exterior. The interior with floral scroll design to the center and four scroll branch to cavetto wall. Condition is near perfect except minor kiln chips with glazed to rim, but no any crack, no chip and no any restoration. Diameter: 14.7cm.

Blue & White dish, decorated with a single Horse on the wave and outside with Lotus scroll, Ming dynasty Suan De period (1426-1435). Rim repaired on the position 5 and 6 o'clock. Diameter: 25.5 cm.

Fine and thinly potted, decorated to exterior with incised chrysanthemum scrolls and interior center with flower medallion and diaper pattern to mouth rim. Ming dynasty 16th century with square mark to the base. Condition is very good except tiny chip to the foot rim, no crack and no restoration. Height: 5.3cm and Diameter: 10.5cm.

Description:

A Cizhou tea bowl was in good elm bowl's shape.
Well glaze on the surface with russet slip and therefore the intriguing firing effect, the bowl was well shaped on the foot ring with steep wall.
Buff-tinted of the clay, and all other obvious characteristic like the retrospective sheen of the glaze proved the bowl an ancient one.

Date: Jin Dynasty, 12th/13th century.

Description:

A SanCai(tri-colored) water pot from Tang Dynasty was in a beautiful look.
In a round shape, the ware was applied with characteristic triple colors(usually as brown, yellow and green) on the upper half of the surface, and left the lower portion unglazed.
The unglazed portion was revealed with the body clay which was in characteristically refined clay.
The beautiful glaze was preserved well but suffused with minute crackles...

A rare prototype Shufu Qingbai wares of late Yuan dynasty middle 14th century, decorated with two lion mask attached to the shoulder, covered overall with slight bluish green glaze. Condition with crack to base, no any chip and no any other crack, also free from restoration. Height: 11.2cm.
