A fine and beautiful antique Chinese Tibetan or Mongolian Tea pot with carved white jade panels of birds and flowering plants with white jade belt buckle used for the handle with elaborate design and decorated with turquoise and coral inset stones. A beautiful antique measuring approx. 14 inches tall. .
Description:
A root wood stand was nicely shaped.
By preserving darken and warm patina on the surface, it was in perfect condition without any defects.

Chinese bronze tripod ding censor with two upright arched loop handles at the rim. A geometric band encircles the rounded body. A comparison with porcelain forms suggests a dating of S. Song to Yuan dynasty for this vessel. 5 1/8"H x 3 3/4" diameter. There are original casting flaws on the legs and a slight dent in the body (see enlargement 6). This piece is from a Tucson, Arizona estate.
A superb bronze vase with silver plate design enclosed in the original wooden box and stamped on the base by the artsit. The vessel is 11-1/2 inches (30 cm) tall and in excellent condition

A boxwood root was intriguingly carved and hollowed into a charming brush pot.
Being penetrated as wall of holes for light going through, the scholar item was most favoured by literati for the natural mood.
It was reserved in very good condition by enduring old patina.
The under cover was an old restoration.

Heavy pigment on thickly veined gold creates a powerful collection of scenes from the Taiheiki, the 11th century story of the fall of the courtiers and usurpation of power by two military families, the Taira and the Genji. The screen dates to the 18th century, or middle Edo period. Many old repairs attest to age. We have had it completely remounted, with no painting restoration performed. Chicken Water Dropper, with everted liprim, decorated outside with chrysantemum scroll, flower on the shoulder and a band of small circles around the foot. Unglazed base. This is similar with the item on the Chinese Blue and White Ceramics by ST Yeo & Jean Martin, Southeast Asian Ceramic Society, 1978, page 134 plate 35. PERIOD : Middle Ming (1488-1566) MEASUREMENTS: 11 cm wide, 8.5 cm Height. CONDITION: cracks and frittings; free from restorations.
