A thinly potted Yingqing glaze bowl, decorated with ribs to inner wall cavetto and incised twin fish among waves medallion at the center, unglazed rim. Song dynasty Jindezhen ware. Condition is perfect. Diameter: 16.5cm and High: 6 cm.
A very rare found of miniature double guard vase with original green glazed from unearthed, fluted sides body, mouth and shoulder carved into lotus bud shape. Ming dynasty 15th-16th century. Condition is fine and perfect. High: 9.5cm and Wide maximum: 6.8cm.

This unusual pair of Chinese dolls were made with wire bodies covered with fabric padding and then silk clothing. Their heads, lower arms and feet are made from some kind of composition material and then painted. Because of their wire construction, their arms, legs, and bodies etc can be carefully repositioned. The feet are wired together to provide a more stable base...it is a theory which frankly does not always work well.
Each doll is approx 9.5 inches tall in standing position...

Description: An aigrette in stylized standing form was actually carved from a piece of natural root wood. In beautiful style, the aigrette twisted her neck when standing on a rock which was from another natural wood piece. As a traditional craftsmanship, this unique wood carving was in quite good size and would be an attractive display item in your house. Date: Qing Dynasty (late 19th century)

Both sides of on this antique printing woodblock are hand carved with 3 pages of text on each side. The text is a poem about the moon.
With the upper sections of each page in Chinese characters and the lower text in Mongolian, this is a rare and interesting artifact of the Qing Dynasty reign.
The woodblock is covered in ink from repeated use but the text is still crisp and clear. Measures 9 inches x 14 inches.
