A Turkish tobacco pipe with a long wooden shaft. Both ends of the stem swathed with paper and tombak wire, the middle section with red cloth between two pompons. The bone mouth piece kept by a wooden bead. The pipe bowl made of clay, covered by metal wire, decorated with different colored glass beads. The lid entirely worked in metal wire and glass beads attached by a chain to the bowl. Condition: Traces of usage, some beads missing, cloth with holes...

A huge, beautifully made vintage Mexican sterling articulated fish pendant c1950s-60s. This fabulous 5-3/8" x 1-3/4" pendant is set with inlaid turquoise and it has a turquoise cabochon eye; each vertebra in the skeleton is linked to the next segment with silver loops and each piece bends independently. It has a large bale for hanging and three round holes resembling a fish spine (no turquoise there, nor was there, and the interior of these holes has black patination)...

Description:
A decent vase with three looped handles was in charming straw glaze.
Applied characteristically on the upper portion of the surface with yellowish glaze, the well shaped bottle was revealed otherwise with beige tint on the body clay.
It was caused by kiln firing.
The actual clay tint was grayish and was revealed under the faded glaze...
