This pottery figure was made during either the Sui Dynasty (AD 581 - 618) or the early part of the Tang Dynasty (AD 618 - 906). The figure stands alert, wearing a long flowing robe with hands clasped across its chest.

This is a special charm/pendant, made of 14Kt yellow, pink and white gold. The center heart is pink gold, the frame is yellow gold and cupid in the center of the heart is white gold. The pendant is ¾” wide and ¾” high including the bail.
Modern limited-edition Japanese etching by Takahiko Hayashi (b. 1961) titled “The Wind Filled with Roots, Countless Small Beginnings” dated 2001. Pencil-signed, titled in kanji, and numbered 45/50 in the bottom margin. Paper: 25” x 23” (frame: 26” x 23 1/2"). Very good overall condition. Floated on an archival mat in a shadow-box frame with UV glass. The wood moulding has a coppered finish. From a Tucson, Arizona collection.
An octagonal wooden box with hinged lid, the interior with original pewter tea caddy, original key. Finely painted in two different gold tones showing scenes with figurines in courtyards, on a black lacquered ground. Condition: fine quite pristine, few traces of usage, the lock seems not to work. All the precious stones are represented in this elegant 14Kt yellow gold openwork flower ring. The 3 flowers are set with emeralds, sapphires and rubies. Each flower is centered by a full-cut diamond. The openwork design is bordered on either side by pave set diamonds. The approximate weight of all diamonds is 0.20Ct, while the sapphires, rubies and emeralds in each flower weigh approximately 0.35Ct. The size 7 ring that can be sized is 13mm wide on top and tapers down to 4mm.
