Black glazed ewer of pear shaped with slightly everted rim, prominent spout and carved handle, covered overall with black glaze on the grey stoneware body, flat unglaze base. Song dynasty but i believed it's quite possible that early ware. Excavated or found in the river on Ternate island, east Indonesia. Some water plant adhere on the base and inside the ewer. Description:

A Qingbai ewer was well mold in decent look.
In rice-white tint of the glaze from which infiltration of incursion was observed, the ewer was applied with arched handle and two loops.
Whitish body clay was revealed at the bottom when darken firing tint was yielded along the rim.
Minute incursions were happened to the mouth rims.
It was rarely found a Qingbai ewer with a melon-shaped body.

Date: Southern Song/Yuan periods, 12th,13th century...
