Rancho Alegre featured Miguel Martinez as a principle designer and this is an early hallmark of Miguel's as shown. The silver is thick and almost pure. The tips are also beautiful and hand made. The rope is black cording and can be replaced quite easily if desired but it is in it's original state for the purest at heart. I would be happy to put the tips on a new cord for you. A pair of red and silver iron lotus flowers with long handles serving as Buddhist candle-stands, the light rising from within the sacred flower. Overall raw iron, the coloration of the flower petals is from silver and red lacquer. Each is 26.5 cm (10-1/2 inches) long and in excellent condition.

A fine antique caddy in all original condition finish and interior compartments sugar or mixing bowl and brass feet all complete. In good condition some minor restorations to the banding.

A Chinese export rose medallion porcelain vase of baluster form with four applied gilded lizard handles. Circa 1840-50s. The vase is decorated in polychrome enamels with two panels of courtesans with gilding in their hair and with two of butterflies and roses in a vase. Size: 10 inches height x 4.5 inches diameter. Condition: One of the lizard handles is missing a front leg and there is some minor wear to gilding on top rim (See photo details).
