SOLD. 1925 Art Deco camphor frosted satin surface oval 30mm x 22mm glass stone, with a 5 point star, is held by 4 prongs and set in a rhodium plated brass frame. The 1 7/8" camphor glass pendant suspends from a later 925 sterling silver 18" double rope chain. Although the 2mm center stone is dulling, it still flashes a sparkle, when you least expect it. One of William Spratlings' most recognizable pieces is this Aztec figure pin with a large amethyst. Circa 1940, it is featured on page 39 of the book MEXICAN SILVER by Penny Morrill. Measuring 1 1/2" long and 1 1/8" wide, most of the surface of the pieces is the large square cabachon amethyst which measures 1"long and 5/8" wide.
