This small and attractive pottery model of a camel was made during the Tang Dynasty (AD 618 - 906). It is made from a reddish-brown pottery that has been cold-painted in a base coat of white with yellow-ochre and reddish-brown pigments on top. The camel stands upright with its head slightly raised.

A two-colored Egyptian eye of Horus amulet. Made of turquoise glazed composite, the pupil and eyebrows accentuated in dark brown. Dating c. to the 22nd to 25th Dynasties, 946 - 657 B.C. Condition: traces of age, two tiny chips (please see photo no. 5 and 6). Dimension: c. 2.6 cm long, 1.7 cm high, 0.35 cm thick.
