Stunning and rare this early sterling silver and Mexican fire opal ring is from the Los Castillo taller of Taxco. Ring size is 7 1/2 but is adjustable. The face of the ring measures 1" top to bottom. Ring likely designed by Antonio Castillo's wife and partner at the time, Margot Van Voorhies. She would later be known as Margot De Taxco after opening her own Taxco design work shop. Fully hallmarked with early linear 980 LOS CASTILLO TAXCO. Beautiful condition with no issues...

Margot de Taxco design 5647 is a beautiful floral motif with the bracelet and earrings having a stately presence of 1.75in. tall. The repousse is thick and heavy with a combined weight of 155.5 grams. The parure has no damage and is an excellent example of this design. Definitely collector worthy. The necklace is 16.25in. of wearable length. The center piece comes together with a simple ring and the look is divine. Of large size, this Huanghuali root or burl Scholars object features an interior bowl shaped area, which is most likely a brush washer. It measures 14" in length, 8 3/4" wide, and is 5" high, and has a darkened and soft patina. The grain of the wood is visible in many areas, with both pronounced striations and larger areas of dark coloration. The wood grain is very dense, heavy, and it has the slightly sweet odor found in Huanghuali wood...

Exquisite sterling silver box designed and signed circa 1940's by American & Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). The top of the box is designed to open by lifting the top section. Box weighs 284 grams, 10 oz. and measures 4 1/2" tall X 3 1/4" X 2 1/2" deep. Beautiful condition with no dents, dings or scratches to the box or top finial. Pictured on spratlingsilver.com where it is described as a cigarette box but the design is also referred to as a tea caddy or keep sake container...

A beautiful sterling cuff bracelet c. 1950 by Arizona Modernist H. Fred Skaggs featuring a very complex and elaborate pattern of silver applique. The bracelet measures 6 1/2" end to end with an opening that can be made to accommodate either a smaller or larger wrist. The width varies from 2" to 1 1/2" and the weight is 98 grams. It has a wonderful patina that really accentuates the wire work. Fine original condition and signed as shown. Looks like a French cuff on the wrist. Just fabulous!!
