Pair of Knight's helmet sterling silver pepper casters by George Unite and Sons, Birmingham, 1881. These scarce pepper pots or shakers were created by the specialist silversmith firm of George Unite in 1881-1882. They are not weighted and are crafted in the form of a medieval knight's armored helmet with pierced and movable visor. Each pot is hallmarked on both the underside and on the outside of the base with a complete set of matching marks...

Miniature mandolin musical brooch pin by Reuge, Swiss, gilded 800 silver and blue enamel. Circa 1970s. Size: 3 inches length. This little gem is fashioned in gilded silver, with blue enamel, in the form of a musical instrument - a mandolin. Beneath the strings, it has a miniature painting of a pianist. The musical clock-work mechanism is entirely mechanical, and, best of all, it is actually a piece of jewelry that can be worn as a brooch...

A rare Georgian silver mote spoon with narrow oval bowl intricately hand-pierced with scroll and cross motifs, attached with an elongated drop to a slender, long and tapered stem with diamond point terminal. Size: 6 1/8" length. Excellent condition with no wear to bowl, and with no breaks or repairs. Stamped at the bowl end of the stem with two indiscernible hallmarks (probably a lion passant standard mark and maker's stamp)...

Birks, Canada sterling silver bread tray, c.1950, with shaped edge, in excellent condition, no monogram. Size: 12 3/4" length x 6 3/4" width.

Decorated with two panels with landscapes, surrounded by flowers. This kendi was exported to Indonesia where the silver mounts were added, most probably in the 19th century. In red velvet lined rosewood case, this brass microscope is in the style of Benjamin Martin, and dates to the mid nineteenth century. Most of the original pieces are included, and the microscope is in working condition. There is an old solder repair along the side of the rack and pinion, which is visible in the photos. Unsigned, it is likely English. The case is in good condition, with a few light splits in the wood, and both the top cartouche and key escutcheon are mother of pearl...

Smashing color combination of peridot and amethysts in this stunning sterling ring by Arizona Modernist H. Fred Skaggs. The center highly polished irregular shaped peridot is surrounded by 8 highly polished irregular shaped amethysts. Currently a size 6, this ring could by sized as it is plain silver in the back. The face of the ring measures 1 1/8" long and 7/8" wide. It is in fine original condition, no chips or cracks to the stones and weighs 12.3 grams. Signed as shown. EXQUISITE !!

Arizona Modernist H. Fred Skaggs was the mentor of Hopi silversmith Charles Loloma and this sterling and lapis ring surely has the design elements and impeccable craftsmanship that influenced Loloma . This ring is a size 7 and the face measures 7/8 " by 7/8". It is in fine original condition. There are no chips or cracks to the beautiful lapis stone. Signed as shown.
