A unique find, this 14 karat pink gold watch fob rotates to prominently display either side. Decorated with a stylized knot, the gold top suspends a frame that contains a black onyx on one side and a carnelian on the other. The deep red carnelian features a stunningly executed double intaglio carving of a man and an ancient warrior. This piece may also be worn on a chain as a locket. It dates from the 1920’s.

Chinese Republic period porcelain plaque decorated in famille rose enamels with the eight immortals standing outdoors under a pine tree with bats flying overhead. Produced by the Jiangxi Porcelain Company at Pearl Mountain and dated 1924. Nice quality wood frame. Porcelain measures 15 1/8" x 9 7/8" (with frame: 16 3/8" x 11 1/4"). Very good overall condition. There are tiny brown scattered spots in the glaze from the original production...

Face coverings were worn for centuries by the women of various nomadic tribal groups of North Africa and the Middle East. This face cover is from the nomadic Harb tribe of Hijaz region of Saudi Arabia. It was purchased by a collector living in the region during the 1960's.

These 6 barefoot maidens are elaborately costumed in traditional ethnographic clothing lots of bangles with bangles, and each is playing a different instrument. They stand approximately 8-9 inches tall. a few are missing a bangle and a few have very small dents in the metal work...metal is assumed to be very low grade silver tin combination.
Decorative dolls such as these were made as a traditional folk art in India for a couple of centuries...
