Contemporary sterling silver, jade, ebony and 22K gold box designed and signed by Taxco, Mexico artist Wolmar Castillo. A talented designer in his own right Wolmar is the son of Antonio Castillo of Los Castillo. Box measures 5" tall. The base measures 6 1/2" X 4 1/2". The jade figure is an antique piece in the style of the Olmec. Wolmar's designs were included in the San Antonio museum exhibit WILLIAM SPRATLING AND THE MEXICAN SILVER RENAISSANCE. Hand crafted and gold plated, this set of pure copper, though unsigned, has the look of a designer's piece. The cabochons are probably glass or possibly carnelian. The necklace is 19" end to end and the large center disk is 2 1/2" in diameter. The clip earrings are 2" in diameter.

A contemporary match safe fashioned in the shape of a hound's head in sterling silver, London, by silversmith David A. Bowles, 2004. This match safe or vesta case is a contemporary copy of a Victorian original. It is very detailed and of heavy weight. The dog's collar hinges open to reveal the matches inside, and there is a striker under the chin. Fully hallmarked for London, 2004. Size: 2 inches length x 1.25 inches depth x 1 inch ht. Excellent original condition, with no damage.
Large, extremely colorful, bowl swirled in shades peacock blue, red, amber, green, gold, and white. Clear applied crystal foot with polished pontil, and three plastic "feet". Small rough spot on outside of rim but no chips, cracks or repairs. Bowl measures 5.75 inches (14.6 cm) Tall and is 13 inches (33 cm) in diameter. This sleek and simple Maya purse is made of resin with a pattern simulating python skin. Maya frequently uses animal or plant textures in her designs and this wonderful purse is a good example of that. Purse and detachable chain are adorned with semi-precious stones as are most all of Maya's resin bags. Antiqued metal resembling copper frame the bag. Measurements are 5" by 5" with a depth front to back of 2 1/2". The chain is 45" end to end.

Beautiful embroidered lace pattern, this Maya resin purse is stunning. Description: A Yixing tea pot was carved in very good skill. A strong tree trunk form was used to make a tea utensil. It is very easy to use and also a fabulous piece for display. A modern thing with traditional Chinese mood was very joyful.
