A large Korean Buncheong (Pun-Chong) pottery bottle from the Joseon period (16th-17th century) covered in a creamy white glaze decorated on the flat sides with exaggerated floral scrolls on a dark ground; carved ringlets filled with dark slip on the sides. Color built up over the centuries fills the crackled glaze. The foot ring is rough with sand and excess glaze, and occasional windows in the glaze about the foot reveal the dark clay beneath...

We are offering a rare Matilde Poulat bracelet that is 7 in. long and 1 7/8th inches tall. A large piece with a carved onyx center stone with no cracks or chips. This is marked with the old MATL block and 0.900. It has a most unusual swirl to the bottom of the chin and on the top right a swirled spray. The puffy repousse is open backed and shows the work on the underside. Many early ones are made in this fashion. Patina is present and lovely...

The second of two Chinese Qing scrolled paintings on silk after Ding Yunpeng (active 1584-1638). 19th century or earlier. The size, including mounting, is 91”V x 23 1/4”H (painting: 86”V x 21 1/8”H). Good overall condition. The top wood bar is missing and a section of the top silk mounting is tattered. The painting has some typical buckling, creasing, soiling, and wear. Description: A bronze Karmapa Lama figure was finely cast.
Being preserved rarely with original gilding, this strikingly depicted statue was in sitting posture on a square pedestal.
Fine carving craftsmanship was well rendered in depicting the deity's facial expression in a natural way.
The bottom cover was a later restoration which was not unusual for Tibet bronze pieces.
Date: 16th Century.

Outstanding sterling and high grade turquoise necklace from Frank Patania Sr.'s Thunderbird Shop. The five silver plaques each have triangular shaped stones set in plain bezels that are surrounded by silver twisted wire. The center plaque is the largest and measures 2 1/8" by 1 1/2". The stone in this plaque measures 1 " by 3/4". The full necklace is 15" end to end but could be made to hang longer with an extender if so chosen. Weighing 104 grams, it is in fine original condition...
