Description: An ancient inkstone called Qing-Shi (green stone)inkstone was from northern China of Song Dynasty. In plain square form(Chao-Sou style), the ink pool was in a shape of Ru-Yi. With original light gray tint, the patina was dotted with black ink left by users. The middle of the surface was concave by long time of using. As to the quality, the inkstone is quite hefty as it was call Qing-Shi(green stone)...

This Tibetan gau (aka prayer box) is actually a small shrine. When not being worn as an ornament during festivals, it would be kept in the prayer niche of the family home. The back of the box slides open. Frequently, a special prayer i.e. sutra pages would be placed inside. The small glass window at the front displays a Tsa tsa, which is a clay statue of a Buddhist Diety. These statues were made only by the monks and considered to be a holy relic...

Chinese late Qing dynasty Yixing stoneware teapot of buff colored clay with globular body, fixed upright U-shaped handle, and slightly concave base. The body is decorated around the circumference with relief applied leafy grape vines. The spout and handle are formed to resemble knotty twigs. A 15k yellow gold wedding band with 3 diamonds from the 1930s. This elegant size 5-3/4 ring measures 1/8" wide and 1/16" deep, it weighs 3.2 grams and it tests as 15k gold. It is unmarked, the diamonds are single point in size and this ring is in excellent condition with no inscriptions, monograms, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs...

A rare Song dynasty longquan celadon censer with fish handle, rounded side with deep center and unglazed foot ring, censer is covered with crackle green celadon glaze, two handle attribute to fish motif on the side. Condition : Restored to the missing part. Measure : Size: 7 cm height.

A blue and white yuhuchun vase decorated with stylized peony scroll on the body and stiff plantain leaves around the neck. Jiajing 1522-1566. Height = 21 cm. Condition : Excellent, no chip, crack, hairline or restoration.

Beautiful foliate design sterling pin from the Chicago Arts & Crafts workshop KALO. Measuring 1 3/4" by 1 1/4", it is in fine original condition and signed Hand Wrought Sterling Kalo. A lovely brooch.

Chinese Warring States Bronze Axe Head

This bronze axe head dates approximately to the Warring States period (475 - 221 BC). Inside are remains of its wooden shaft. Length 16 cm (6.25 inches). Unfortunately it has been broken in two and re-stuck.

An elegant and impeccably hand crafted sterling and Mediterranean coral bracelet by Santo Domingo Pueblo silversmith Julian Lovato. He began working in 1938 and was a silversmith in the Frank Patania Sr. Thunderbird Shop. His creations have won many awards. This cuff measures 5 1/4" around in the inside plus a 1" opening. It is 7/8" wide at the center and tapers to 1/4" at the terminals. The coral stone is 5/8" across and 1/4" down...

Measuring approximately 5 3/8 inches in length, 4 3/4 inches in width, and 2 3/8" in depth, this wonderful, ceramic, Wide-Smiling Mammy Wall Pocket was made in Japan, circa 1940-50's.

Coloring is quite brilliant, and the condition is very fine with appropriate age-related crazing and some tiny, circular, firing imperfections on Mammy's polka dotted scarf as noted in photos. Please note that white marks are flash reflections, not imperfections. Makers mark is noted on the back--- an "E" inside...

Description: An old seal was made of nephrite white jade. Carved on the nob with motif of a crouching Chi-long, this jade was deliberately dyed black in part with traditional skills(Lao-ti-yuo) which was commonly used in Chinese old jades. With greasy slippery feel, this old jade was most likely being fastened under Chinese scholar's clothing and caressed within palms instead of being considered as a seal material. An elegant mood can hardly be reflected in my bad photo skills than if you see it...

Light and airy this vintage Hector Aguilar foliate brooch looks almost like an anatomical leaf study in fine, .940 silver. I think it is a fern leaf that is presented in its absolutely bare essentials yet the stem's playful curve and the graduated lessening of the pin's width as it proceeds from base to leaf tip impart a pleasantly deceiving illusion of sculpturality. Easy to wear, soothing on the eye, perfect for the time when trees put on their fall colors. The brooch measures 3 3/8" tall by 1...
