This is an impressive moonstone cross with repousse flourishes and beading. The bezels have great design below the saw tooth. There is on the back more flourishes that I believe to be done with a cast base. The moonstones are gem quality. They are so effervescent with blue I was worried they may not be genuine moonstones, so I had them tested and they were genuine. There is a number which I believe to be a design number of 4021 on the piece and that is the only marking...

Description: An old wooden tablet with inscription of Yi Yen Tang-the hall of happy swallow was a classical piece originated probably from a lady's chamber room of a noble family's house. Preserved well with faded golden paint, the feminine word Yi-Ye was possibly from a fair lade's name, or was used as a metaphor for the family's well- being.

A simple and elegant Victorian period 10K yellow gold stickpin or tie pin in the form of a wishbone set with genuine seed pearls circa 1890-1900. It is stamped 10K and has a makers marks of what appears to be two linked horse shoes (or a stylized W). This 2-1/4" long pin has a 1/2" x 5/16" top, it weighs 0.8 grams (without the HOLD-ON bulldog), and it is in excellent condition with no dents, cracks, corrosion or damage...
Not very frequently coming up this is a fun Antonio Pineda ring, which I would date in the 1960s! I have never come upon this design before but I think it is related to the gorgeous silver and pearls "Knot" necklace pictured on p. 190 of "Silver Seduction", the catalogue to Pineda's big retrospective exhibition at UCLA's Fowler Museum in 2008/09.
I find the complicated, thick wire knots on the face very intriguing and definitely different...

Finely cast in solid bronze, this pair of Komainu figures, also referred to as Shishi or guardian lions, are diminutive in size, measuring 3 1/8" high x 3", but maintain the fierce and powerful demeanor for which they are known. They have the traditional stance, and one has an open mouth, the other closed, with richly sculpted manes and tails.
The patina is very dark, with some verdigris evident in the crevasses, and very light wear where they were handled...
