A fine antique Gilt bronze Buddha Thailand 19th century. Fine casting of the Buddha seated in Mara Vijaya (calling the earth to witness) Gilt bronze over lacquer most all original gilding remains in good condition. Top of the head is a stupa-shaped "flame" or called usnisa, symbol of the realization of Nirvana or indicative of supreme knowledge. Measuring approx. 15 inches tall A fine example.

A fine Antique Japanese bronze censer Meiji period artist or makers signed. A incredibly finely detailed casting with dragons and shishi dogs and traditional Japanese design elements. Measuring approx. 21 inches tall in good condition some repairs or re-soldering to the handles and base supports causing some discolorations to the patina. All in all this is a remarkable piece at a very reasonable price.

Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (1864-1901) - Yvette Guilbert. This colored lithograph is an original page from the weekly satirical newspaper "Le Rire", published in 1894. Toulouse-Lautrec produced 10 colored drawings for this humorous periodical over a period of three years, from 1894-1897. This illustration is of Yvette Guilbert, a music hall performer, who thrilled Parisian audiences with her audacious songs, curious smile and gestures with her long black gloves...

Here is a fine hand formed tea pot of dark clay by Otagaki Rengetsu engraved with a poem and enclosed in the original signed and age darkened wooden box...

Three small Chinese Guangxu mark and period ogee form bowls with lobed rims, each exquisitely decorated on the exterior in famille rose enamels with a quail standing on rockery below bamboo wrapped with leafy vines sprouting flowers and double gourds that extend over the wall to the interior well. A single bird flies above. The base of each bowl holds a six-character kaishu form iron-red Guangxu mark and of the period (1875-1908). 4” diameter x 1 3/4" high...

A Continental lowboy in walnut and walnut veneers. 18th century. Size: 32 3/8 inches wide X 21 1/2 inches deep X 30 inches high. Walnut veneered and cross banded top with line inlay above a long and two short drawers with a boldly scalloped apron and supported by cabriole legs with raised carved shells on the knees and with ball and claw feet. Brasses are later replacements.

Autumn colors by Goto Shiro in thick pigment on silk in a superb patterned-silk frame with solid ivory rollers. It comes in the original signed wooden box with a Futo-maki rolling bar titled Yudonoyama Banshu (Late Autumn at Mt. Yudono). This is representational of Nihonga in the 1950s, a time when artists were seeking a new direction, breaking with the past and expanding the limits of the medium...

A very unusual round Ming huanghuali box with a lid. The lid's center has a burl wood center of huanghuali. It is very rare to see burl wood huanghuali in huanghuali pieces. This is the only one I have ever seen. Size: Diameter: 15.5cm. H: 9 cm. Condition: One old small repair (see photo), a natural age crack on one side (see photo) and a small chip at the bottom rim.

Pairpoint centerpiece in silverplate with cut crystal vase, fashioned in a classical style with female masks and garlands, and supported on paw feet. The removable crystal vase is decorated with diamond cut motifs and has a star in the base. Circa 1890-1915. Condition: Two small chips to the crystal (one on top rim; one on underside of base). Marked on the underside with Pairpoint stamps and the number C1536. Size: 7" x 7" x 16.25" ht.

A charming oil on copper panel of young street boys playing dice with a dog and another eating scraps. Measuring 8x10 inches framed in a quality antique frame 13 x 14 overall size. A charming painting would enhance any collection.

A very beautiful heavy, wide sterling cuff with 8 ribs by Frank Patania Sr. A subtle and notable touch are the smooth curved terminals. This bracelet measures 6" around in the inside plus and additional 1 1/2" opening. It is 2 1/2" wide and weighs a very sturdy 113 grams. It is in fine original condition and signed as shown. Simply spectacular.

Georgian oak single door hanging corner cupboard. English. 18th century. Size: 43 inches ht. x 30.5 inches width x 13.5 inches depth. The door with a carved, raised panel and brass 'H' hinges. The interior arranged with four shelves.

Beautiful Taxco 980 floral necklace made by a skilled maestro. The beading is perfect with even more detail in the tiny rope around the bezel. The repousse is without flaws and the amethyst stone is without damage. The length is a 17in. wearable length. With a 2.5 x 2.5in. flower drop the whole necklace comes alive with a strong presence. This flower necklace looks impressive worn with the leaf Los Castillo clamper just listed on my site. A wear with anything design, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!
