Golden mist shrouds the aged pines draped with wisteria growing about the crashing falls on this anonymous early Edo period gold screen. A rare scene to find, rigid lines and the lavish use of gold are typical of the first half of the Edo era. The screen features a colorful brocade border with vermilion lacquer frame and has been fully remounted without re-painting. It measures 68-1/2 x 63-1/2 inches (174 x 162 cm) and is in fine condition, showing some old repairs.

This sweet, 1930's, wooden pull toy made by the Hustler Toy Corporation of Sterling, Illinois, features a darling little black character pulling the reins of his white mustang horse! The toy measures 12 inches long x 5.5 inches high.

When the toy is pulled, the wheels rotate and the horse's head bobs up and down! Just adorable!

Great looking minimalist ebony and sterling earrings by American Modernist jeweler Ed Levin.C. 1950, these are screwbacks and hang 1 3/8" long. The ebony disk is 3/4" diameter. Signed LEVIN STERLING on the back of one of the disks in block letters. They are wonderful.

A definite clamper with a presence that makes all comment when you wear it. Made by Gerardo Lopez who is well known for quality and strong designs in clamper bracelets. The diameter is 2.5in. and the height is also 2.5in. The repousse is a heavy 71 grams. No flaws or damage and a tight spring. A real treasure for collectors.

This adorable stuffed donkey has the softest mohair fur & a very goofy face. With articulating arms & legs, vinyl pads on the bottoms of his feet & a red vinyl mouth, he is quite an original. There are a few small areas where fur has been loved off along the seams and one ear is loose, but he is very clean & in overall good shape. I found this delightful tin box at an antique show in Reims, in the Champagne region of France. Circa 1920's, children used a box like this one to take their "gouter" or snack, to school. On the top there is an adorable image of a cat & a child running from a mischievous dog, and a small mouse appears on the side.
