Bold, beautiful sterling orchid earrings by Angela Cummings. These are the large model measuring 1 3/4" long and 1 3/8" wide. They have clip backs and weigh 25 grams total. A Victorian gold filled double slide expanding gentleman's watch fob chain. This 9-1/4" (maximum) chain shrinks to 6-1/8" when the two engraved slides are separated (which contracts the chain forming a double chain between them, shown partly drawn in our second image). A fabulous 17th century Koro (Momoyama to early Edo period) covered in black lacquer inlayed with minute mother of pearl shippo designs around circular windows featuring floral motifs. The lid is solid silver, pierced with overlapping floral designs. The windows feature grape, plum, bamboo and other seasonal imagery important in Asian cultures. Chinese Northern Wei Dynasty Pottery Horse with Female Rider

This attractive model of a horse and rider was made during the Northern Wei Dynasty (AD 386 - 534). It is made from a grey pottery that has been cold painted in a creamy-white pigment on top of which have been applied other coloured pigments. Note the detail of the female rider's facial features and hairstyle.
