Stunning, big vintage 1950s Peruvian figural brooch bearing the signature of Italian-born Graziella Laffi, the so-called "Spratling of Peru". I believe the figure represents an Inca god, shown here with a snake coiled around his waist and holding two salamanders. The brooch is made of thick gauge silver sheet, perfectly cut and finished, with silver overlay parts and hand-chased details. A fantastic example of Laffi's exceptional design genius, it measures 2 1/4" tall by 2 3/8" wide...

Sterling silver ring mounted with an intricate hand carved rock crystal face c.1930's signed by Frederick Fred Davis(1880-1961). The Pre-Columbian design face measures 1 inch. Ring size is 11. A wonderful ethnographic folk art object, this style of farm animal bell has been used in Thailand for centuries. Hand carved from wood by the herder and tied around the animals neck this traditional bell is hinged (or pegged) in 2 places to allow for a gentle knocking sound. This one was used for a goat and has remnants of the original hand made rope.

From Ibaden, Nigeria this traditional Yoruba cloth was woven by the men of the village. It was worn tied around the waist of the woman, and used as a baby carrier. This piece was brought back from Africa in 1961. Hand loomed of cotton fibers, it has a wonderful soft color and texture. It measures 10" wide and 68" long including fringe.

A Victorian 12k genuine turquoise and diamonds ring circa 1890 1900. This antique size 2-3/4 or 2.75 yellow gold ring measures 3/4" x 1/4" across the top. It is mostly unmarked but has been tested. Sterling silver and amethyst necklace on heavy link chain designed and signed (c.1940) by American and Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling(1900-67). A original oil painting of the The Copenhagen (København) was a Danish sailtraining vessel rigged as a five-masted steel auxiliary barque(1921–1929). It was, according to Alan Villiers, the largest and finest sailing vessel in the world at the time it vanished.
