This is the tiniest Babyland rag doll that I have ever seen or owned. She has a dear little face with two white smudges that were rosy at one time. She has on a wonderful early calico dress with red trim that is not original to her and may be a little earlier than she is but looks really good on her. Believe me I wouldn't consider bothering her. Take a look at those eyebrows, mercy, this is a doll you might exhibit by herself. That said, a few friends might help soften her around the edges. She is 26" tall with stockinette head and body, all original. She is as found with all her jewelry, white blouse, red plaid wool skirt with a lot of holes and a slip and petticoat. This doll doesn't need any detective work to know that she is old and completely original. I think she has two other faces under this one but I would never take the risk of hating the other two faces and not being able to get this face back on. I often don't like to take socks off a doll. When you know by the looks that the socks have been on forever they never look the same when you take them off and put them back on.

This is a very nice black cloth doll from Maine. She has a blank face and doesn't look like she every had features. Her hair is mohair but most of the hair is gone, although some still is remaining in the front. She is a nice brown cotton broadcloth. She is wearing soft blue calico dress with matching calico pink fabric trim. She is cotton stuffed and rather firmly packed. Her arms and legs are jointed so she sits nicely. She is 18" tall and is circa 1910.
Not often do I get a doll that has documentation of the maker, this doll does. She is all original with a red calico dress and bandana, white apron, petticoat and bloomers. A very unusual and great topsy turvy doll with a watercolor painted face. She has blue eyes, a perfect little kewpie doll mouth, reddish hair and a flaunty hap framing her face. The black doll has a red bandana tied around her head, she has white eyes and mouth and a sensible yellow dress with a black checked apron. She is in good condition with just the back of her bonnet shredded a bit and there is age related staining. She is 14" end to end and is circa 1890-1910.
This is a collection of paper doll dresses from the 1840-50's. They are all cut from tissue paper and glued to blue lined school book paper of that era. This is a wonderful wooden Native American doll with original clothing. He is pretty much untouched. He may have had a jacket or vest but I don't see any signs of that. His head is removeable but looks completely original. He is hand sewn clothes, has bead work around his sleeves but nowhere else. A 19th C. bisque head cloth body doll that is a squeak toy. I have never had one before.
