Possibly made for Dior, this lovely necklace with matching clip earrings has the distinctive S shaped hook which was frequently used on Dior necklaces. One earring is marked FRANCE. Circa 1960. In goldtone metal with large glass based faux pearls, opaque topaz stones, and chain tassels. In a longer length which is currently very fashionable. The necklace has a wearable length of 22 inches. This elegant depiction of a Wiener Dog is c. late 1940’s. The sterling silver vermeil and marcasites compliment the beautiful ropetwist, open wirework of the body. The ear is set with marcasites, as is the eye. The back is marked “ALICE CAVINESS” and “STERLING GERMANY” on applied plaques. The pin measures 2” (from snout to tail) x 1/2". This wonderful piece is in excellent condition.

Beautiful vintage French wired necklace in silvertone metal with rhinestone balls with prong set stones, clear faceted glass beads, and glass based faux pearls in champagne and very pale gray. With early spring ring clasp with a collar instead of the thumb tab. Probably 1950s or earlier. 52 inches wearable length. The glass beads are 11mm or just over 3/8 inch. Overall excellent condition with some verdigris on some of the wires, and some losses on two or three of the faux pearls...

Very glam vintage Egyptian revival bib necklace by the artist Ruth Buol. Circa 1965. Goldtone metal drops with huge faceted glass stones in aqua an iridescent aurora borealis colors are suspended from a goldtone chain. The backs of the drops are enameled in pale blue to match the aqua stones. With paper stickers marked BUOL and EGYPT I and with the original price of $110. A fabulous statement piece.
