This vintage 5/16" wide paste rhinestone hinged bangle is made of dull grey pot metal (brightened in our pictures), and it has dozens of claw-set antique cut paste rhinestones. Paste of this era was less sparkly than later versions and glinted like antique cut diamonds in low lighting conditions (such as at night). It has a double-button box clasp and it is unsigned, and it measures 2-3/8 x 2-1/16" across the interior...

This well-painted 2-1/8 x 1-3/4" brass mounted pin features gold trim, deep red roses and green foliage with a yellow and light green wash. An Edwardian engraved 10k rolled gold plate hinged baby bangle 1910-20. This bangle measures 1-15/16" x 1-3/4" across the interior and it is 1/4" wide. The engraving on the front half has remarkably not been monogrammed or initialed, it has a push-button release, and it is stamped 10K GOLD SHELL, another term that refers to rolled gold plating. This item is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

This delicate white metal chain is studded with bezel-mounted glass faux amethysts. The faceted glass pieces are securely set; there is no clasp. The necklace hangs 15 1/2 inches (in other words, a total 31 inches end to end).

Here is an English-made whistle of copper-plated brass and base metal, that may have been made for the U.S. market. The front is labeled ‘The Acme/Boy Scouts’ with the English registration number for 1914, and ‘Patent’ underneath. The whistle itself measures a little under 3 inches long; the bale adds another 3/4 inch. Circumference is about 2 inches. Weight: 25.8 grams

A 19thC hand-carved shell cameo in a gold filled pendant/pin setting. This 1-7/8" x 1-3/8" brooch features the Eros and Psyche scenic cameo, and the pin has a flip-up loop and safety catch. The cameo dates to c1900 and the setting appears to be a bit later (c1920). This item is in excellent condition with no chips, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than an internal flaw in the shell at the top (doesn't show through the back of the cameo)...

This nice quality antique 3-3/4" x 1" Chinese cinnabar and multicolour enamel floral dress clip features a filigree silver setting with a spring-hinged long dress clip clasp; it has a toothed rake at the end to hold it to the fabric. It may have originally been a brooch or some other decoration, these pieces were sometimes converted to dress clips after 1910, and the clip section doesn't appear to be added, but may have been...

This Victorian bangle bracelet has an elaborate filigree of twining leaves,flowers and grapes on the front. I believe this bracelet is brass covered in dore gold color. The bracelet has a push clasp and closes securely. No evidence of corrosion or repairs. Excellent condition.

The fleur de lis (flower of the lily) is a heraldic symbol of French royalty. It is still used in flags and most often in jewelry. It has a prestigious history as a symbol of kings, worn by Crusaders into battle, and an emblem of the flag of St. Joan of Arc. Today it is the symbol of the city of New Orleans and is proudly embraced in the rebuilding efforts.

This fleur de lis has an enamel center over brass and is used separately as a pin or as a watch holder. It is 1 1/4" x 1" .

A fine vintage Arts and Crafts necklace c1910, consisting of a finely carved bone 1-1/2" x 1-18" roses pendant and a contemporary 15" triple-strand white glass bead necklace with springring catch. The unsigned pendant is suspended from a carved 3/4" bone bale, and it was common in this era to combine the natural and manmade in pieces such as this; it is likely that this necklace and pendant were original to each other...
