Fabulous unusual early vintage necklace made from marbled Bakelite beads in honey amber with a hint of cherry and butterscotch/egg yolk colors, and carved black wood beads, all wired in darkened brass with brass caps and clasp. Marked MADE IN FRANCE, and MOD DEP, which stands for Modele Depose. Circa 1935. The honey/cherry and butterscotch beads test positive for Bakelite using Simichrome. It weighs 84 grams, but that of course includes the wood beads and the metal findings...

Lovely necklace of woven multi colored silk in red, blue, and green, with two very large knotted silk beads which slide along the strand. Also with a knotted button and loop close, and a long tassel in the center. Circa 1970 or 1980. Possibly an unsigned Yves Saint Laurent. From the same estate as the YSL black silk tasseled necklace I am listing. Wearable length is 22 inches. 1 inch wide at the silk beads. The tassels are 5 1/2 inches long. Excellent condition...

Long elegant Baroque pearl necklace with matching earrings by Miriam Haskell. Gray bead spacers. Newly restrung. The necklace is 55" end to end and has the Miriam Haskell tag. The screw-back earrings are 1 3/4" long with Haskell marked on the shank.

Fabulous clip earrings in heavy antiqued dark goldtone metal with prong set opaque white glass stones and matching white glass beads in filigree end caps. These are probably French, however they do have a very Haskellesque look (Haskell jewelry designers drew on French and Italian traditions for inspiration). Circa 1950 or 1960. Great size -- 4 inches long and 1 1/4 inches wide. Excellent condition. Photos enlarged to show detail.

Large, bold set by Napier.Intricate design on the gold plated necklace and hinged bracelet (with safety chain). Center stone is a rich green jade color. Necklace is 17" end to end, double pendant is 6 1/2" long, 3" wide. Oval bracelet is approximately 6 1/2" around inner circumference and the front of the bracelet is 3" top to bottom. Pendant is stamped Napier.

They were a short lived firm that produced high quality and highly collectible jewelry. The most collectible pieces are the Chinaman pieces and the figure pieces.

The bracelet consists of four pagoda-inspired panels. The first panel features an applied conical hat that the Asian man might be wearing. The Second panel is a faux ivory face of the Smiling / Laughing Asian man...

A vintage 15-1/2" knotted 3/8" turquoise glass bead necklace with a gold plated ball insert clasp c1950s. This necklace has a tag which says MADE IN U.S.A. which exactly resembles the tags used by Vogue jewellery of New York (1936-77?). Stunning fabulous signed Miriam Haskell long necklace of large faux baroque pearls with a long pearl tassel, mounted in signature Haskell Russian goldtone metal. Marked MIRIAM HASKELL on attached metal tag and also on the Haskell trademark clasp. Clasp dates it to the 1970s. I am selling several other Haskell pieces from the same estate. The pearls are the famous Haskell Niki pearls, glass based and heavy with a beautiful luster...

This scrip Coro horse head pin is rhodium plated base metal with rhinestones and enameling. It is 2 3/4" x 2 1/2". It is in excellent condition. It is circa 1937.

Nettie Rosenstein hinged bangle bracelet and dangle earrings, handsomely crafted as always. The set, 1940-50's, is beautifully designed, and the bracelet is heavy and chunky. As with everything we present, it is in excellent condition. The opening at the rim of the oval bracelet is 2 1/2" by 2 1/4" and the bracelet is 1 3/4" wide. The bracelet has the name plate stamped Nettie Rosenstein Sterling. The earrings are 1 3/4" long from the top of the clip...

This sparkling and colorful necklace/choker is beautiful. It is made of multifaceted, Aurora Borealis graduating, crystals. It is 16" long with a hook and chain closure marked LAGUNA. It is in nice condition.

This is typical fine work by Hobe. The leaves and bow are layered. The roses go a step further by having individual petals wrap to form a circle just as real roses do. The semi-triangular plaque with the rectangular bottom marked Hobe, sterling, 1/20 14k, indicates that this brooch is lovely older Hobe dating between 1918 and 1932. 3" long.1 1/2" wide. 1/2" deep.

This Trifari Prancing Horse is made of gold plated base metal with rhinestones.
