A most elegant unsigned piece. The translucent glass stones shimmer in a rich red color. The stones are very interesting since the front side of the large square stones are beveled, while the under side of those stones are dome shaped with a carved checkerboard pattern. This makes all the more shimmer when the piece moves. The age of the necklace is hard to determine, probably mid 1900's, possibly the 1940's...

Outstanding vintage necklace in heavy gunmetal gray chain links with quatrefoil shaped elements which are made of translucent tortoise Bakelite. This piece can also be worn as a belt. Marked YSL on an attached metal tag. 1970s. The quatrefoil form is of course a classic medieval and Moorish motif and is here translated into a stunning modern look. Chic statement vintage 1970s Givenchy necklace in antiqued silvertone metal with large dimensional sliding pendant with a hammered finish, on a matching chain with foldover clasp. A rolled gold plate hatpin with a purple stone from the 1880s. This vintage late Victorian coiled tube style 7-1/8" hatpin features a bezel-set amethyst glass stone, and the gold plated top measures 1-1/8" across and 1-3/8" tall above the steel pin. It is unsigned, and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...
