A collection of antique Ethiopian silver jewels, most of them Coptic Christian crosses. There is also a digit finger ring for a lady, and an ear spoon. Old Ethiopian silver, like these crosses, usually has a very high silver content, but is not hall marked. However, all these items have been tested for a silver content of at least 925 /1000. Antique Peranakan or Straits Chinese silver belt, probably early 20th century. With its Aceh style Phoenix bird theme this belt was traditionally used by ladies at weddings and other festivities. The buckle – now missing but easily replaced by a matching textile ribbon - would have held a larger version of the Phoenix motif. With diffuse marks but tested for a silver content of 500/1000. Weight 143 grams. Length "14 ½ / 74 and width "1 ¾ / 4.5 cm. Condition: fine.

This antique bracelet from Tibet is both thick and weighty, but it is very small for a Western wrist. The opening measures a scant 1 inch.
This antique Chinese silver bracelet is hinged at the back and opens in the front. The silver work displays plant leaves and a bird. The bead work is both coral and turquoise. Bracelet is stamped "China" which according to trade laws makes it late Qing, about 1890. Its in very good condition
Decorated with inlaid discs and squares of bone, horn and wood, in the manner of tribal or ethnographic art, this compelling long chain necklace has an exotic, sophisticated feel. The discs are decorated on both sides; the squares, only on one side. Each ring of the cable chain is completely secured with solder; the chain has no clasp but can be doubled. The dating is mostly likely 1950-1960, although it could be older. Doubled, the chain measures 28 ½ inches long. It is conservatively dated.

Very finely crafted repoussé and pierced silver gold washed medallions depicting the He He Erxian Twins. This was most likely sewn onto a garment- possibly part of wedding outfit. An attractive gold plated signed AMITA JAPAN komai 6-1/2" bracelet. This bracelet is done in the Komai damascening technique in which gold, copper and silver are inlaid into etched grooves on black oxidized metal backings. This 3/4" wide bracelet features Chinese characters, scenes of buildings, a dragon, bamboo, a boat and a rickshaw with rider; it has a box clasp and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...
This vintage Navajo cuff bracelet measures 1 1/4", tapering to 3/4". The central turquoise stone has an irregular shape and is sawtooth bezel-set. The back is signed John Chavez (in script) and 1975. The sides have nice stampwork.
