This is an used Silver belt of Nyonya lady in Straits Settlements, in a quite good condition except some wear & tear (dented and scratches). I is with the flora and fauna design typical of the Chinese Works of art of the era, circa 1930s & can be older or earlier. This traditional Miao Chinese Minority hair pin would have been worn by young woman for festival. The butterfly motif is in reference to the Miao creation myth. The hair pin is 5 inches long.

This necklace consists of 2 carved ivory beads 3/4ths inch diameter, 8 large carved bone beads 3/4th inch, and 88 smaller carved bone beads (1/2 inch). Each large bone and ivory bead has a protective metal sleeve around the stringing hole. If opened up the strand would measure approx 48 inches...beautiful patina on both the ivory and the bone beads....

This pair of low grade silver Chinese Bracelets are Miao Ethnic Minority. Low grade silver was used extensively throughout China during the 19th and early 20th century. To a Westerner the backs look like the bracelets are adjustable, this is a decorative element only and they are not adjustable. The fronts are deeply etched with animals. At the widest point in the front the bracelets measure 1.25 inches...

An older double knotted strand of malachite beads. The goldwash filigree clasp is marked China. The necklace measures 25-1/2", the beads are 1/4" in width (6.35mm) and the piece weighs 72 grams.

A lovely Chinese carved green jade pendant in the form of a melon with a crane, leaf and integral bail ring. The jade has good translucency, light mottling, and nicely saturated color.

The crane, appearing along the upper left side of the melon's front, frequently represents longevity; the coins prosperity; and the melon itself has a number of meanings including fertility and plenty.

The pendant was originally one of several carvings incorporated into a very good 1920s Chinese necklace...

Qing Dynasty Noble lady's gilt silver hairpin with antique glass beads and jade stone and in the crab pattern symbolizing prosperity....

A hand made low grade silver "flower" pendant with 15 faceted natural antique-cut rubies, a single faceted natural emerald, three oval turquoise stones and opaline glass. Three stones are missing, a few rubies are crunched and some are replacements, and the small emerald at the top needs to be secured in its setting. Date unknown, unmarked and the silver untested...

A nice rare ancient middle eastern glass bead

Tlingit or Haida 14k hand made whale or dolphin ring, Alaska, c.1970's. Typical design shows coiled sea animal and is size 8 1/2 but can be made slightly larger or smaller because it is not soldered.
