Large heavy gauge silver Hopi bolo. The oxydized bottom layer has a hand cut design top layer showing man and woman figures. The bolo measures 2" long by 1 5/8" wide. The black leather thong is 18 1/2" long doubled(39" long) and the silver tops are each 2 1/4" long. The mechanism in the back works perfectly. Excellent condition. This is an used Silver belt of Nyonya lady in Straits Settlements, in a quite good condition except some wear & tear (dented and scratches). I is with the flora and fauna design typical of the Chinese Works of art of the era, circa 1930s & can be older or earlier. Egyptian Paste glass head of ancient Pharaoh head, wearing a crown with the Uraeus cobra , the molded head is done in purplish cobalt blue and sea foam blue green with tiny flecks of copper in the glass , with mold seams showing at the sides. I have listed many pictures of this since I use a point and shoot camera and this is as detailed as I can get .The loop is not gold but some kind of base metal , the face is pretty well detailed and has no damage .Size H 1.5" w 1" d 3/4"

This necklace consists of 2 carved ivory beads 3/4ths inch diameter, 8 large carved bone beads 3/4th inch, and 88 smaller carved bone beads (1/2 inch). Each large bone and ivory bead has a protective metal sleeve around the stringing hole. If opened up the strand would measure approx 48 inches...beautiful patina on both the ivory and the bone beads....

This antique pair of earrings are from the Miao Chinese Ethnic minority The original "wires" are a bit thick and buyer may want to change them to accomodate contemporary pierced ears... Assumbed to be low grade silver which was typically used in old China... the cubes have the same decorative elements on all 4 sides...each cube has a series of drop dangles hanging from the bottom full length of earings 2 inches ....not including the wires

This emerald green glass bangle started life during the late Qing Dynasty as one of 2 handles on a ladies rank badge embroidered purse... The other handle was broken which rendered the purse unusable...and the embroidery was sold separately... Bangle measures interior diameter 2.75 inches so...it will fit a large hand/wrist...

This traditional style of India woman's necklace has a bead at the ends which slides to adjust the length of the necklace to suit the wearer. The silver pendant would hold a lingam stone and has a cluster of small silver balls attached using a technique called "goli". The balls are not welded to the base, but are attached with a wire, giving them some slight movement.

An attractive gold plated signed AMITA JAPAN komai 6-1/2" bracelet. This bracelet is done in the Komai damascening technique in which gold, copper and silver are inlaid into etched grooves on black oxidized metal backings. This 3/4" wide bracelet features Chinese characters, scenes of buildings, a dragon, bamboo, a boat and a rickshaw with rider; it has a box clasp and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

This is a silver pearl style Nyonya kerosang brooch of the Straits Chinese lady

Antique Peranakan or Straits Chinese silver belt, probably early 20th century. With its Aceh style Phoenix bird theme this belt was traditionally used by ladies at weddings and other festivities. The buckle – now missing but easily replaced by a matching textile ribbon - would have held a larger version of the Phoenix motif. With diffuse marks but tested for a silver content of 500/1000. Weight 143 grams. Length "14 ½ / 74 and width "1 ¾ / 4.5 cm. Condition: fine.

Originally, this was the largest of a set of 3 graduated matching silver necklaces. They were worn as a set for festival by the Miao Chinese Ethnic Minority women. The necklace was skillfully hand-formed from a sheet of silver into a curving tapered tube with a reposse pattern of 2 dragons chasing pearl. It spans 10.5 inches across.

A collection of antique Ethiopian silver jewels, most of them Coptic Christian crosses. There is also a digit finger ring for a lady, and an ear spoon.
