A lovely 18K yellow gold, diamond and ruby love pendant (“medaille d’amour”) with a rebus spelling out “Plus qu’hier, moins que demain” (“More than yesterday less than tomorrow”), a line from a love poem written by Rosemonde Gérard to her husband Edmond Rostand (author of “Cyrano de Bergerac”) in 1889...

These stylized lily of the valley earrings are from the 1960-s. The non pierced earrings are made of 14Kt two tone gold and diamonds with “French backs”. The leaf in the back is made of textured 14Kt yellow gold, the flowers are white gold and each set with two diamonds. The approximate total weight of all eight diamonds is 0.15Ct. The earrings are 1 3/8” high and 5/8” wide.

The wonderful gold medal won by James Ephraim Narraway at the 1929 tournament of the Correspondence Chess League of America (CCLA). The medal features a black and white enameled chessboard surrounded by a laurel wreath and surmounted by a crown. The back is engraved “C.C.L.A. 1929 Leaderhip ‘A’ 1st Prize Won By J. E Narraway.” The medal was likely originally attached to a neck ribbon, but would be really nice worn today as a pendant or on a chunky charm bracelet...

This estate ring is from the 1960-s. The “bamboo” design setting is a split shank style and topped by a 10X8 millimeter oval cabochon prong-set opal. The ring is a size 6 and can easily be sized.

This well designed 14Kt white gold estate ring is centered by a 6X4 millimeter emerald cut natural sapphire. The center stone is flanked on either side by five full cut diamonds. These pair of 14Kt yellow gold and garnet earrings is a 1960-s revival of the Victorian style. The top part of each earring is set with a 3 millimeter round faceted garnet, while the movable bottom part is centered by a 5 millimeter round cabochon garnet. The earrings have French backs for non pierced ears. If needed it would be possible to convert the backs. The length of the earrings is 1 ¼” and the width is 7/16” at the widest part.

A classic coin pendant in a simple 18K gold frame, but featuring a spectacularly rare and beautiful “Franc a cheval” coin from the reign of Jean II “le Bon” (“the Good.”) The coin was minted in Paris for just a little more than three years, December 1360-April 64. The front of the coin depicts the king charging on horseback, wearing full armor and a fleur-de-lis crown and with his broadsword raised. The horse, too, is decked out in armor decorated with fleurs-de-lis...

A delightful Chinese antique carved agate pendant enhanced with its original knotted silk cord and Type A (untreated) green jadeite bead, finished with a 14K yellow gold bail. These 18Kt yellow gold and diamond earrings have a wonderful spiral swirl design date back to the 1960-s. On each earring there are ten full cut diamonds set in two rows following the shape of the earring. The approximate total weight of all 20 diamonds is 0.90Ct. The earrings have omega backs (clips) but post can be added on demand if necessary. The earrings measure 1 1/8” high and ½” wide.

This great 14Kt yellow gold bar pin dates back to circa 1920. The top is decorated by an openwork design and centered by a 3 milimeter round faceted natural blue sapphire. The pin is 2 ½” long and 3/16” wide.

A 1920’s large shell cameo with an unusual shape depicts a lady with flowers in her hair and a diamond necklace around her neck which is set with a single-cut diamond. Instead of the usual oval or rectangular shape this cameo has cut corners making it into an octagon. The cameo measures 1 13/16” by 1 1/8”, which is set in a 14Kt white gold filigree frame and the overall measurements of the broach / pendant is 2 1/8” by 1 13/16”.
