Mid-century silver and amethyst ring by Mexican Master silversmith Antonio Pineda. One of his very recognizable designs, perhaps you are fortunate and have the necklace, bracelet or earrings that match this ring. It is a size 5 1/2 - 6, weighs 11 grams, and is in fine original condition. There are no chips or cracks to the amethysts. There are inclusions under the surface of the stones as typical of amethyst. A rare modernist sterling silver cuff bracelet with a ruffled layer by the California jeweler and sculptor, Florence Resnikoff. She was the director of the Jewelry and Metal Arts Program at the California College of the Arts and a founding member of the Metal Arts Guild in San Francisco.

Etched with a cursive Florence behind the ruffle.

A cast rectangular top decorated with what look like applied and incised stylized scrollwork; the surface is textured and is unevenly oxidized. The sides exhibit clamp-like elements and the band shoulders bear engraved geometric designs. The band is flattened, and on the inside is marked with the German crown and moon, 800, and what looks like a worn maker’s mark. The style looks like transitional art deco/art modern; the ring is dated conservatively. It is sized at a 7. Weight: 5.9 grams

A wonderfully constructed heavy brooch and matching clip earrings by Bent Knudsen, Denmark. Streamlined curves, thick sterling, very Mid Century. Marked Handmade, Sterling, Denmark, Bent K, and Style #2 on the back of each piece. Brooch measures 2 3/4" long and almost 3/4" across. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely. Earrings measure 1 1/4" long and 1/2" at the widest. Clips hold tightly. Fine condition, minor surface scratches...

A great, early sterling silver cuff bracelet by Francisco Rebajes with a large silver wire wrapped glass orb. Marked Sterling, Original Hand Wrought Design, and Rebajes on the back. Measures 4 3/4" around with an opening of 1 3/8". Could probably be adjusted slightly but meant to wear snuggly so the orb doesn't roll around. Measures 1 3/8" at the widest. Fine condition. There are some minor surface scratches to the finish. The glass looks like a large drop of water...

This ring has a wonderful design. The "head, top" measures 3/4" x 1 1/4". The beautiful, eilat cabochon (stone) has a nice, central setting. Oval, in shape, it measures 3/4" x 1/2" x 3/8". The band is adjustable and has a great design. It is marked ISRAEL STERLING 925. This great ring is in excellent condition.

A vintage triangular sterling silver modernist bracelet from the Jack Boyd studio in San Diego, California. Has flattened corners for an interesting look.

Signed with the conjoined, stylized 'JB' mark.

Hallmarked with the Antonio Taxco crown, 970, Hecho en Mexico, Silver and the eagle 17. The Swan design in the form of a Necklace is featured in the book Silver Seductions. This is a gorgeous bracelet with an impressive style.

Timelessly elegant this vintage Mexican silver Carmen Beckmann ring features a “toi et moi” design with two sparkling color-change sapphires in substantial crown settings. This is a more “demure” Beckmann, if I am allowed the use of the word in this context, reaching for a classic look with clean, lean lines and minimal adornment...

These modernist earrings feature polished, irregular-shaped composite turquoise drops attached to serpentine pieces of forged sterling silver wire, secured by curled ends. They hang from commercial screw backs that are marked (and test positively for) sterling silver and are in excellent working condition. The earrings measure approximately 2 1/4 in. long. They are otherwise unmarked.

Circa 1930's - 1940's, here is a huge early hand-wrought Mexican modernist bracelet. Hallmarked simply "Silver Mexico", it's a book-piece design seldom seen, originally created by Frederick Davis and shown in the Morrill/Berk book "Mexican Silver". No maker's mark on this one. Four large amethyst cabochons with quartz marbling and natural inclusions sit between oval silver tubes with silver balls at each end...

A vintage hand made long pendant necklace in an abstract design reminiscent of strung seashells in sterling and brass. Signed behind each of the the 'seashells' with a tiny 925, .45 and a Saguaro cactus hallmark. The bottom dangles are just marked 925. We have been unable to identify the artist.

The central pendant is a large sterling clam shell with 13 smaller dangling ones ending in hammered brass circles. Lots of movement.

The necklace measures about 22" around...
