A third design period sterling silver and tortoise cuff bracelet by William Spratling.

This cuff measures 5 1/4" around with an opening of 1 1/4". Measures 1 5/8" at the widest. Marked with the script WS and 925, Spratling Taxco Mexico in a circle mark, and Eagle #30. The tortoise is in fine condition with very minor scratches. The end rivet is out a little more than the rest. The finish near the seams is a bit irregular. Has some tarnish and some very small nicks along the edge...

This sterling silver necklace was designed and signed (c.1940) by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). The pendant measures 3 1/4" X 3 1/4" and can be worn as a brooch by easily detaching the 20" long sterling silver chain. The pendant with chain weighs 110 grams. Early & rare this vintage sterling silver, turquoise and coral bracelet was designed circa 1930-48 by Matilde Poulat. The dove (palomas)at the center is raised so it appears to be inflight. Circa mid-century, this parure is an extremely rare design from Margot van Voorhies Carr / Margot de Taxco.

This Fred Davis is properly signed and 15.5 inches long and will catch your eye when walking by. The amethyst stones are berry colored and bright. Even harder to find are nice well formed bezels. The necklace makes a presence with a height of 1 inch. There is no damage or repairs. I will include a safety chain if you prefer to wear it longer. Signed Margot de Taxco Swanns is a coveted design. Even more difficult to find with all the repousse balls in perfect condition. All the balls are channel set making this item even harder to construct. The center reflects the age being open backed repousse. The center drop is 2 in. and the measurement across is 4 in. across.
