This well executed 2-1/4 x 1-5/8" brooch features a landscape scene with a central cow, a river with trees and hills; it is mounted in an unmarked but tested sterling silver bezel with a c-clasp. Measures approximately 7 7/8 " long and 1 1/8" wide. In very nice condition, has some minor scratches and a little tarnish. Marked Made in Mexico Sterling. Has a box clasp that snaps securely. The craftsmanship and construction on this bracelet point to Fred Davis' work. Pre Eagle, (1948). Looks great on!

Marked with the MIC hallmark and the three crowns silver standard mark used by Anton Michelsen when in Stockholm, Sweden from 1946-63. Also marked with S for the town mark, A9 for 1951 and Engel.
