HUGE sterling and onyx Mexican faces sun calendar by William Spratling, Mexico, c.1931. This impressive sterling silver & obsidian pendant & chain was designed by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling in the late 1940's. The pendant with bail is 3 1/2" high X 2" wide. The heavy, original sterling chain is 18" long. The pendant with chain weighs 82 grams. The carved volcanic arrow beautifully reflects deep, rich colors as it moves & catches the light. This early Antonio Pineda bracelet is quite rare and all out spectacular. His "Silver By Tono" hallmark dates 1948-1953. Eight teardrop amethyst cabs in almost pure silver panels which alternate up and down, each separated by four silver balls. Pin closure. Weight is 98.9 grams. Measures 8" end to end, width 1 1/4". Closed, wearable length is 6 3/4". Signed and hallmarked "Silver By Tono Mexico". In excellent vintage condition.

Classic Antonio Pineda bracelet that is board room sleek with a look that goes anywhere. The bracelet has a 2.5in. diameter and 5/8th in. high stature. There is a light amount of patina which will be left for the buyer to do with as they prefer. The hallmark is signed correctly as shown. It is hard to find one in this condition without dents or damage. I believe the stones to be a low sheen obsidian. Everything goes with the color black. Collector quality
