We have a properly signed Antonio Pineda crescent necklace styled with black onyx and having a height of one inch. The weight is 111 grams of quality construction. A natural dark patina is on this treasure and it gives a smoky rich look but many wish Pineda's to be shiny so I will leave that up to the buyer. This mid-century necklace from Antonio Pineda is an absolutely spectacular showpiece. It's composed of obsidian and silver, both in 5 point diamond shapes, which form a "V" in the front center. There is a pearl offset on the left front. This is a very rare piece, and it looks amazing on the wearer. The obsidian centerpiece is slightly curved so that it contours perfectly on the neck. Hallmarks date this very rare Antonio Pineda necklace 1948-1953.

The hand carved obsidian face mask has a gold sheen which is glowing and gorgeous, and exquisitely detailed, with dangling coral earrings. Stone measures 1 1/2" x 1 1/2", with a depth of 3/4". Carved tubular beads alternate with round silver beads, strung on a sterling silver chain, and the closure is a hook and eye.

Closed, wearable length is 18 1/2".

Circa mid-century, this bracelet from Antonio Pineda is a published book-piece design, shown with obsidian cones in Silver Seduction : The Art of Mexican Modernist Antonio Pineda.

It's a heavy solid piece, weighing a staggering 153.1 grams. Executed in 97% silver purity, this is a very seldom seen bracelet which is nothing short of amazing. Looks fabulous on the wrist. Sixteen amethyst cones sit atop interlocking thick silver panels.

Composed of thirteen amethyst cylindrical bars and silver cones, it's an amazing bracelet with a very luxurious feel. The amethysts are gorgeous stones with natural inclusions and quartz marbling, well matched in color. Closure is a tight and secure wide tongue in box.

The "Silver By Toño" hallmark was used from 1948-1953. For the discerning collector of Mexican silver - this bracelet is nothing short of spectacular.

This bracelet alternates five huge amethyst cabochons between repoussé silver shields tipped with silver balls. Closure is a pin on a chain. This design, in a necklace, is shown on p. 96 of Silver Seduction. The amethysts measure 15/16" in diameter.

Closed wearable length is just over 6 1/2". Width is 1 7/16".

Circa pre-1960, this necklace produced by Matilde Poulat has a generous length of 23", with a 3 1/4" wide center. There are amethyst stations on each side, with double chains continuing up the neck. The palomas sit next to a vase with turquoise flowers. Length on the center is 2 1/2".

Weight is a substantial 91.1 grams.
