This fabulous vintage Mexican Bracelet has a stunning design similar to the work of Antonio Pineda - it's signed with the initials AP but they differ from the more common Pineda hallmark and we're not sure who the artist is. It's a massive piece measuring 7" long, 1" wide and is quite heavy at 115.5 grams. Early style pin closure. We have a superb Los Castillo 18in. long necklace to offer today. The links are 1 3/8ths tall making for a striking presence. The stones have no cracks or chips and also have no striations that come to the surface of the amethyst. The color is a beautiful mix of milky swirl and jelly purple. So-called "chain mail" jewelry is not uncommon in the world of vintage Mexican silver. One can find them in all forms, with or without stones, and in all widths, signed by known maestros and by less-celebrated makers as well. There is something very slick about this design, its interwoven "mesh" inhabiting quite comfortably both the Art Deco and early modernist worlds. The necklace at hand is an example of the narrower versions but very well made and with good weight to it...

This is a very old pre 1948 Mexican silver bracelet that is in exceptional condition. The 5 stones are barrel cut amethyst with no cracks or chips. The underside shows many work marks. We have a unique Los Ballesteros pectoral necklace with a drop of 2.75in.across and 2in. tall. The stone is a color changing synthetic that was widely used in the Spratling era by many tallers. The wearable length is just under 16in. Being a pectoral style the drop rests at just below the hollow of the neck and slightly tips outward making it very comfortable to wear. Plateria Cecilia has produced a very nice rendition of Mexico City folk work. The stones are warmed teal turquoise, dark red coral which looks Mediteranian and an amethyst that is jelly clear purple. The center Medallion is 2 inches tall and the bracelet is 1.25in. tall. There is 7.25in. of length and also 60 grams of silver.

The back is marked STERLING, with the Uncas Manufacturing Company hallmark of a U between 2 arrows. It is in excellent condition. The Uncas Mfg. These great earrings are made by NAPEIR, during the 1950's-1960's. They were designed during NAPIER's sterling silver line that incorporated floral motifs and geometric shapes. Silver lipstick cases / holders from Italy are not a rare occurrence yet how often do you come upon a signed Peruzzi example? As difficult to find as it is beautiful, this one has it all - the signature, the warm patina, the delicate floral etched decoration and tiny little sparkling red rhinestones at the center of each dainty flower. This is an impressive Hector Aguilar bracelet. Vintage dated to 1940-45 because of the earlier 990 mark making this one more rare than most. Weighing 51.2 grams and 1 1/8in. wide the chain is heavy and the gage of the medallion is thick silver.
