This unusual enameled sterling pendant comes out of the Arts & Crafts movement, roughly 1880-1920 (it can be argued that it still continues!) The enamel colors are associated with the women’s suffrage movement in the UK: green (Give), white (Women the), and violet (Vote) – or at least, that’s the story! A vintage Arts and Crafts Dutch sterling silver size 7 ring c1910. This ring features a deep red rose-cut bezel-set garnet in a finely tooled setting. It measures 3/4 x 1/2" across the designed top area, it weighs 1.8 grams, and it has the Dutch sword mark with a DV2 mark. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor wear to the stone...

Charles Horner was a major maker of Arts & Craft enamel pieces. This necklace is simple, with its shaded green and blue enamel and pleasingly elegant sterling silver frame. It is signed Charles Horner and is on a 14" chain. The hallmarks indicate it is sterling and was made in Chester in 1912-3. The enamel pendant is 3/4 X 1".

A pair of Arts and Crafts hammered sterling silver bar pins or brooches by the Art Silver Shop of Chicago. Each has a central fresh water dog tooth pearl.

They may be purchased separately or as a pair.

The longer one measures about 2 1/2" long and 1/4" wide. The shorter one measures 2" long and 1/4" wide.

Both brooches are marked on the back with Hand Made, Art Silver Shop, conjoined TASS hallmark, and Sterling.

Lovely hand made sterling period arts & crafts period SEAHORSE set with pin and earrings, c.1920's. The pin and each earring are signed "TN(conjoined) STERLING" and are in excellent condition. Beautiful hand hammered design, the seahorse pin measures 2 1/2" long by 7/8" wide and the screw back earrings 1 1/2" long by 3/8" wide. A well crafted sterling silver brooch signed Sterling Handwrought and The Gorham Co. Probably executed by the Chicago silversmith Bjarne Meyer. Beautifully hand hammered silver. Bjarne Meyer did work for Gorham and also worked for Georg Jensen, USA. Measures 1 5/8" across. Has a three dimensional repousse design, possibly a stylized feather or apple. Dark patina, has some tarnish. Fine example of Arts and Crafts silver work.

This is one of our favorite pins! The colors are so pretty, and the leafy design is so very Arts & Crafts-y! It has a berry and leaf motif, highlighted by a central cushion-cut cabochon blue chalcedony (thought to bring good luck), with a round green aventurine cabochon on either side. Measuring 1-1/4” x 3/8", it is unmarked but tests as silver. It is in excellent condition, although the pin is a little bent (pretty typical for these old pieces)...

An Arts and Crafts hammered sterling silver ring with a blue bezel set cabochon by the Art Silver Shop of Chicago. Stone measures 3/4" long and 1/2" across. Measures about a size 3 1/2 so currently would probably be worn as a pinky ring. Marked on the back with Hand Made, conjoined TASS and Sterling. Mark is behind the part of the ring where the stone is so it could resized without disturbing it. You can see the light hammering. Beautifully made. Great example.

A hand made large silver and glass Arts and Crafts pin brooch. This fine 2-5/8" pin has a trombone clasp and a hand hammered finish evocative of Arts & Crafts jewelry. It has a large cabochon glass stone which looks like natural agate stone and we think this pin predates 1920 but we aren't positive (however glass stones were used in earlier examples). It is unsigned and it tests as silver...

Two period arts & crafts pins made of copper and silver plate. The first shows a house and landscape scene and measures 1 1/2" by 1 1/4". The second is a bar pin and measures 2" by 1/2". A vintage hand wrought Sterling Silver reticulated floral brooch. Measures 2 3/4" across and 1 1/4" at the widest. Signed Handwrought, Sterling and with an impressed mark that looks like a flower pot. Has a rollover clasp that hold securely. The brooch is thick sterling and curved, not flat. In fine condition with very minor surface wear and a little tarnish. Classic Arts and Crafts period piece.

This lovely sky-blue enameled pendant tests as silver, probably sterling. It has two shades of light blue enamel on the front, highlighted by flourishes in silver. The dropper is also enameled in shaded hues of blue. The enamel continues on the back in sky blue – such wonderful attention to detail! Excluding the bale, it is 1-1/2” long by just under ¾” across...

This beautiful pendant is straight out of the Arts & Crafts movement; it’s very much in the style of Horner, but it’s unsigned. It is enameled in an intense blue with areas of a much lighter blue. The dropper shades from a pale green through a lighter blue into an intense blue, echoing the color of the main part of the pendant. The back is marked “sterling silver”, and the dropper is marked “silver”. It measures 1-3/8 x 1-3/16, and is on a modern 18” sterling chain...

This silver and lapis lazuli necklace was designed by Georg Jensen in 1915 and is known as design #26 (stamped on the back). The inner length is a hair under 17" (43.2cm). The outer length is slightly longer so that the necklace lies in a circle at the base of the neck...
