This lovely sterling silver pin is a classic example of the Japanisme influence popular during the Aesthetic Movement of the late 19th century. It features embossed images of a dragonfly and two delicate plants as well as tiny marks emulating Asian characters, all on an irregular-shaped disk. Made by George W. Shiebler of New York City, the molding is sharp and detailed; it does appear to have a secure rollover clasp that would have replaced the original C-clasp...

A whimsical brooch in a fish shape designed by the Swedish Modernist Jeweler, Birger Haglund.

Marked STE for the maker, Town Mark for Stockholm, National Mark, Silver Standard, and date code for 1977. Also signed Birger H for Birger Haglund.

Measures about 1 1/2" long and 1" at the widest. Has a bezel set red stone, probably a garnet. Curved for an interesting effect. Rollover safety clasp holds securely. In very nice condition.

Rare and beautiful vintage sterling and turquoise pendant necklace by Cochiti Pueblo silversmith Cippy Crazyhorse. To classic Pueblo designs, he adds his trademark style of deep stamping and chiseling. This heavy gauge silver pendant measures 2 1/4" diameter and is on silver beads measuring 29 1/2" end to end. The beads are not original to the pendant but fit very well. The total weight is 72 grams. There are no chips or cracks to the high quality turquoise stone that might be Kingman...

Wonderfully designed hand made necklace by MAYA, Mexico, c.1950's after a Hubert Harmon design. Maya frequently copied Harmon designs. Looks just like silver with a great patina, but probably made of silver plate because there are no Mexican silver marks. The locking mechanism is separated from the main part by black velvet ribbon. Of large scale, the largest irregular square measures 2" wide by 1 3/4" high and the necklace measures 15 1/2" around...

Strong, unique & one of his most desirable creations this 970 sterling silver cuff was designed & signed in the 1950's by Taxco, Mexico artist Antonio Pineda (1919-2009). This cuff will comfortably fit up to a 6 1/2" wrist. The back opening is 1 1/8". The largest of the 7 disks measures 1 1/2" across. Weight 80 grams. Beautiful condition & patina. The pendant is composed of a forged oval frame surrounding an applied lost-wax cast piece of organic design. It is suspended from a sturdy leather cord that exhibits some wear and stiffness. The necklace is secured by a spring-ring clasp marked sterling. The pendant is unmarked, but tests as sterling silver; its surface is tarnished and could use a light cloth polishing...

This colorful ring is a size 7.5. It has a nice design with a large, central, faux fire opal cab (glass). It is clearly marked with the Eagle Assay mark, #3. It is also marked MEXICO middle and is also marked MEXICO 925 and other marks (unable to decipher) in a circle with what looks like JCM in the middle. This ring is truly gorgeous with all its colors and is in excellent condition. I have taken pictures with flash and without.

Wrought in .900 silver which Matilde Poulat used in the early period of her career this stunning silver repousse brooch develops around a carved black onyx “mask”. This substantial necklace is composed of sterling silver cable chain decorated with applied, loose rings of twisted sterling wire. Each chain link has two rings attached to it, completing a sophisticated and intelligent design that evokes flexibility and movement. The necklace has a secure spring-ring clasp, and bears a flat link with the number 950 or 930 for silver content and what looks like L37. Unclasped, it measures 38 ½ inches long.
