This wonderful, sterling silver charm displays George Washington and troops crossing the Delaware River on that cold winter evening, December 25, 1776. The back is marked WASHINGTON'S CROSSING DEC. 25, 1776. It also has a maker's mark of "H" inside a bell, for Heritage (part of the Heritage Collection) and is marked STERLING. This charm has good heft and is in excellent condition...

A superb sterling silver repousse locket and engraved chain dated 1884. A fine example of sumptious Victorian sterling silver craftsmanship! This 2-1/4 x 1-5/8" sterling silver photo locket has a complex design and inset rose and green gold highlights on the central flower. It has a full set of Birmingham, England silver hallmarks on the undecorated side corresponding to the year 1884, and it has an I.H maker's mark...

Formed in the shape of coral-like branches and set with what appears to be a gray pearl, this delicate sterling silver pin was made by Otto Robert Bade of New Hope, PA. Bade was a prominent designer for Francisco Rebajes, and purchased the company in 1958 from. Bade renamed the firm Orb, which ended production in 1971. The pin is marked ‘Orb’ on the reverse and is secured with a safety clasp. It measures 2 inches long by 1 1/4 inches wide.

Some of the most lovely, early, Mexico Silver designs are exquisite and masterfully accomplished. This marked Mexico Silver is one of these examples. The silver is thick with the set weighing 141 grams. The amethyst are set nicely in their bezels with no chips. No dents to the repousse. There is a height of 1in. on the necklace and 2 inches on the bracelet. The earrings are screw back. The bracelet is 7in. long and the necklace has a 17.5in. wearable...

A double textured links sterling silver charm bracelet with 22 charms from the 1970s. This 7-1/4" long and 5/16" wide bracelet has a box clasp with a safety loop and it is signed GB STERLING...

It is always vexing when a hallmark eludes identification and this is (almost) the case with the towering vintage silver ring at hand. Brutalist in design, having a big, semi-translucent chrysoprase cabochon nested in its elevated setting, it bears a partial hallmark which has been suggested to me is probably a maker’s mark from Spain. Home of renowned modernist designers such as Joachim S’Paliu and Puig Doria, Spain sounds like a plausible place of origin for our 1970s ring...

Composed of nine panels with a horizontal raised design on a highly oxidized background. It is marked 925 for sterling silver and has a secure box clasp. The bracelet measures 7 inches long by ½ inch wide. Weight: 20.9 grams

A very nice modernist silverplate over copper tie bar decorated with a design of coiled silver wire by studio jewelers Morley & Kim Crimi. This use of coiled wire is characteristic of the maker, who more frequently worked in copper than in silver. The back is marked “Morley-Crimi Hand Wrought”.

Unusual and lovely signed early 1960's amethysts, silver, and enamel butterfly necklace. Beautiful golden brown, white, yellow,& turquoise blue enamel butterfly with 2 oval cabochon amethysts on a light blue enamel background. This is constructed on heavy gauge silver and the back is royal blue, golden brown and black enamel. Beautiful red wood jacket with richly appliqued figures, Mexico, c.1940's. There are large man and woman figures on back and donkey, cactus, guitar, ceramics, etc on front and sleeves. There are two front pockets and the edges have sewn wool stitching all around. Interesting collar design(see photo). Small size - approx. size 4. A fabulous and dramatic silver necklace with webbed strands which fall asymmetrically in both the front and the back, longer in the back. Circa 1920. Period illustrations frequently show necklaces designed to highlight a low neckline in both front and back. With brilliant lead crystal unfoiled stones in openback settings. The metal tests positive for sterling silver. With a spring ring clasp without a thumb tab, a common early 20th century clasp. A stunning look.
