Rings by Victoria of Taxco, one of the few ladies of Mexico's 20th c. Silver Renaissance that are known to us, are such rare finds, they actually touch upon the impossible. If one is really lucky, one might find a shadowbox example from her "angel" parure but I have never before seen a "mask" ring with her signature. Yet here it is - the black onyx "mask" set in elaborate sterling worked such as to represent a headdress and breastplate...

An Aesthetic sterling & 2 colour gold photo locket dated 1884. This beautiful vintage Victorian 1-3/16 x 15/16" photo locket is fully hallmarked for Birmingham England 1884. This locket has deep hand egraving and tooling on the front, with rose gold bars and a flower and a green gold leaf. Very lovely art deco sterling and marcasites necklace with molded blue glass stones, c.1920's. There are three bright blue floral design stones set in sterling with alternating sterling and marcasite links. The 16" necklace has marcasite links all around, but is not sterling. A vintage modernist sterling silver cuff bracelet by Danish silversmith, Palle Bisgaard in a tiered curved shape. His torque necklace, part of this same line is included in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This is the widest version of this cuff, with an extra tier at the bottom edge.

Measures about 5 1/2" around with an opening of 1" and 3/4" at the widest. There does not appear to be much give so it is better for an average to slender wrist.

An early Los Castillo design and very much in keeping with the 1940s' love for sweeping flourishes this set of earrings, carefully hand-cut, overlaid and oxidized will add just the right amount of festive spirit to your outfit. Bold and confident, the swirls seem to twist upon themselves in excitement and then reach high up for the skies with abandonment. Got to love the Los Castillo and the myriad ways in which they still make our day...

Mid- century modern, minimalist design sterling and lapis Georg Jensen Denmark ring no. 123G designed by Nanna Ditzel . It is a size 7, weighs 11 grams and is in fine original condition with no chips or cracks to the stone. A great wear anywhere, anytime ring.

I love these William Spratling all silver tulip earrings. They are 1in. x .75in. in size and they are 3/8th's thick in the centers. The depth is outstanding as well as they are the perfect companion with the tulip necklace just listed. Excellent condition and properly hallmarked as shown.

A vintage pair of figural screw back earrings attributed to Ex-pat Ken Beldin in copper and patinated brass. Screw backs are marked Silver Mexico.

Measure 2 3/8" long including the screw back top and 7/8" at the widest. Screw backs hold securely. They have some areas of tarnish. There are a lot of scratches on the back but we're not sure we see a signature.

A pair of elegant sterling silver and diamond earrings with the woven design is pave set with 104 diamonds. The pave center is encircled by a vermeil (gold on silver) frame. The 16 millimeter square earrings have posts and omega backs for a safe closure. The approximate total weight of all diamonds is 0.52 Ct.

Being offered is a rare circa 1942 sterling silver and cabachon amethyst bracelet by Fred Davis of Taxco, Mexico. Early piece by one of the pioneers of the premiere Taxco Silver ateliers. Handwrought links with bezel set amethyst cabochons & alternating domed silver motifs. Tongue & box clasp. Dimensions: size 7 1/2 inches, links are 1 1/4 inches wide. Marked as illustrated. A modernist sterling silver necklace by noted artisan, Johannan Peter from the Israeli artist colony, Ein-Hod.

Two layers of sterling, the bottom has a lightly hammered texture. The top wires serve as embellishment and also as the link connectors.

Marked Made in Israel, ST, 925, 'PH'. Has a hook clasp which holds securely. Dark, warm patina. There is a minor repair to one of the connectors on the back that can't be seen from the front. Measures 16" long and 1 1/8" at the widest...

Being offered is a circa 1960 sterling silver necklace by master silversmith Jose Anton of Taxco, Mexico. Anton was one of the earlier prominent silversmiths during the Spratling era. Modernist design featuring incised silver flower motif links with bezel set jade cabachons. Dimensions: 15” long. Great weight. Marked as illustrated. In excellent condition. EXQUISITE

Spectacular vintage sterling and 5 stone turquoise cuff bracelet by Hopi Ralph Tawangyaouma (1880-1973). Possibly Lone Mountain, the stones are beautiful and free of chips or cracks. Measuring 5 1/2" around in the inside plus an additional 1 1/8" opening, it is 1 1/8" wide. Weighing 95 grams, it is hallmarked as shown. A gorgeous bracelet from this noted Hopi silversmith.

This Mexican Silver necklace is hallmarked with an ms conjoined, Taxco, Sterling and an eagle 3 as shown. It is very outside of what I would normally acquire. Lighter than my average acquisitions, it is solid with no repousse and is 30 grams in weight. Very comfortable as it feels lighter than air. The minute I saw it worn I was convinced that it was very special. Dramatic at 7 inches long and 4 inches across the presence is commanding...
