This unusual sterling silver necklace is constructed of sections 1/8-inch wire in a wavy pattern similar to figure eights laid end to end. Each section is linked by flattened, securely soldered bands; it is a nice, substantial piece. The necklace is marked sterling on the band attached to the jump ring, as well as on the spring ring. It measures 17 inches long by 3/8 inch wide. Weight: 53.7 grams

Composed of oval twisted-wire rings, this 1960s long chain is easy to wear and has a very contemporary look. It is unmarked, but tests as sterling and is very well constructed, with each link secured with solder. There is no clasp, just throw it on and go. When worn, the chain drops 19 ¼ inches long. Weight: 33.7 grams

A sterling chain link charm bracelet with 9 charms from the 1960s. This 7-1/4" bracelet measures 3/16" across the flat oval links which are connected by small twist links. It has a springring clasp which is marked AIRFLEX on the loop and STERLING on the springring. These are not rhodium plated unlike the chain and may not be original to this bracelet...

This ring design features a constructionist approach to the classic 1960s domed ring. Ridged protrusions overlay a grainy, textured surface. The band is separated for ease of sizing; it is quite thick, so probably would need professional adjustment. It is currently a size 7. Weight: 11.4 grams

These earrings have a crafts-like and substantial feel, composed of applied sterling flowers, leaves and vines on a sterling silver backing. Formed as a stylized starburst of forged wire with a central sterling silver bead, this pin is based on the Joseph Skinger design, but made and signed by Martin Lasak. The pin has a delicate look but is sturdily made. The back sports a secure rollover clasp, as well as a sterling mark. Lasak, of Bar Harbor, Maine, was trained by and worked for Joe Skinger during the 1960s in Skinger's Vermont studio, according to Joe's daughter Carol...
